Apex Legends This New Legend & Map Update Can Be Good For Us

In today’s video I go over a new update in season 12 and this news is about apex mobile as we are hearing they will be getting new legends and maps before the PC/Console of apex will. A lot of people are very frustrated about this new change as it makes the main apex game feel less and less special, so I go over my opinion on this today.

  1. Apex needs a solo mode , I see so many solos in duos and I feel bad cause I understand , sometimes you just feel like playing alone against other players

  2. Instead of trying out the new content on the mobile version, what they could do is to do it like r6 dose it. They release a new version of the game about a month before and call it "test server". What do you think bout this?

  3. nah i think they make new legends and shi first for mobile since is tencent thats making that and not respawn so tencent make new shi and respawn just do copy and paste on the pc version

  4. For us, it kind of sucks, exploring new legend feature and POIs is the biggest thing that draws us back to apex. But whats the point if most the experimenting is done before its even available for us to play.

  5. Your actually wrong.. they already stated that the new legends coming to mobile are only for mobile exclusively.. same with the maps.. only for mobile not console or pc.. get your info straight please don’t spread mis information.

  6. Everyone keeps saying "phone games are growing in popularity!" yet I literally don't know anyone that plays games on their phone aside from clash of clans, or legends of runeterra. No one I have heard of or know wants to eat their phone data for more intense games, or their phone battery. I personally won't be touching apex on mobile – if I'm playing a shooter, I wanna play a shooter. I honestly can't even believe apex mobile is a thing. facepalm

  7. To anyone who thinks the mobile and main versions of Apex will have seperate teams working on each (thereby "mobile wouldn't draw resources away from the main game"), you're only half right.
If mobile Apex becomes successful enough, there's no doubt that Respawn/EA/Tencent/whoever will slowly move more and more workers from the main AL to instead work on mobile AL. Which will eventually lead to main AL effectively being euthanized and put down.
Don't believe me? Here's a prime example: Fortnite and Paragon. When FN exploded with its BR mode, Epic needed to allocate more of their resources and staff to keep their newborn juggernaut at the top, which meant moving members from Paragon's dev team to instead work on FN, leading to Paragon's eventual shutdown at April of 2018 and the rest is history.

Now granted, Paragon was already not doing very hot by the time FN came along, and Apex seems to be doing pretty damn good at the moment (close to 200,000 concurrent players on Steam alone, and being number 6 at the top games on that platform) but who's to say the higher ups deem those numbers satisfactory? And who's to say that these numbers will stay up there?
It all comes down to how the mobile version turns out to be. If it somehow becomes more popular than main AL, even if for a moment, whoever is in charge will likely see where the money flows best and start moving resources from one side of the coin to another. And when that happens, as with any other BR game, only one will eventually remain alive.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
