I love the apex devs but I think EA is getting in to the game to much and I don't like that apex needs to not become Madden.
I love this game but at this point I am leaving because of the sbmm.MY friend installed the game for the first time and at level 1 with me in a duo we got 3 stack preds. At this point there is nothing to do. Do you guys have the same problem?

is it just me or are skins and packs waaaay expensive in this game? I only ever buy the super cheap ones, Lifeline had one in that x-mas pack for 500 pts, but it seems like it's upwards of $20 for a character/gun/charm skin pack and that is insane. Cod is about the same price but they usually give you a new character, multiple blueprints, and some other shit….either way I hate this era of gaming for that but EA is fucked in the head thinking people want to buy these.
I dont buy skins because anything worth buying is basically what I make in 2 hours at work dont feel like a smart or responsible thing for me to do

In all honestly I hate the toxicity in any form of public or social media, and as much as I love Apex Legends it’s completely understandable a lot of the frustration people go through. There’s way more money grab tactics than just mismatched bundles going on, and not to mention the game has been consistently bugged out beyond imagination worse than any other game I’ve ever played, by far. The sound issues alone are cause enough for someone to rage out and smash a controller because they shouldn’t have died for that being a cause, and that issue alone happens literally every game or other game I experience. They really need to step up their game in terms of basic performance expectations. On top of that the content in terms of game modes is extremely lacking, the players deserve multiple PERMANENT game modes, every time an LTM comes out it’s just another monetized event riddled with bugs, and this year we didn’t even get anything different other than a few minor changes and recolored skins for both the Halloween and Christmas events. It’s mind boggling to me that they’re not trying to compete with games like CoD when they have the potential to do so, in the meantime I will remain hopeful but would really like to see them succeed before it’s too late. After all I was a huge Fortnite player, but once Apex dropped I jumped over and never played another Fortnite game again since. Who’s to say the same won’t happen to Apex? Better late than never is not a good way to think in this genre, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for them for now.

I think they did it like that so you could get more from each purchase. So say I already have the octane shin but I want his eva 8 also. I buy the pack and get a character skin with the shotgun skin.
The matchmaking make this game unplayable. No matter what the will put in this game i dont come back. Every single game i have to play against masters and predator.
I used to toss money at this game from time to time. But this new overpriced bundle has me keeping my wallet closed

There are much better monetization methods and i expect better decisions from the devs and monetization isn’t the only situation they do this in. In general I would expect more cuz a lot of things are unreasonable

Apex is definitely one of the least toxic communities while playing the game. People who are toxic are usually quiet and have no reason to talk because they can just leave.
Compare that to games like valorant or csgo, where you're stuck with the assholes for an entire match
