  1. I feel the Flatline feels weird when I can’t have the alternator that’s basically all I’d use I season 9. So now I’m doing mostly 301 with a shotgun or triple take with an smg or an AR.

  2. R-99 has better recoil than the CAR?! I usually agree with or at least understand what you have to say no questions asked. But this is one I don’t understand. The R-99 is like trying to do Gymkhana, Formula-D, and or Rally cross with an old full analog fighter jet. Yes, a fighter jet. The CAR gives you the same feeling except you are in a brand new WRC car. Not a fighter jet. If I wanted (and often do) I could run the car with a 2x increasing the effective range to about 75m, maybe 100m. I can’t do that with a r-99.

  3. Everything you went over already known just by playing alot this season. But One thing that really stood out was Me and You both recognize the R-301 and Flatline this season. I've been using R-301 and Flatline as a combo with Pathfinder and Octane and dropping 10-15 kills a game.

  4. As I got better at aiming, I really enjoy picking up the Repeater now. It's such an easy gun to hit long-range shots with and crack or even kill people that try to push you, or snag damage/kills from other fights across the way. Plus it has a really big alpha damage/peek advantage over its comparative Wingman because it has better ranged use, and higher damage on said singular shots. On the shotgun side, it's pretty much just as good if not better than pre-nerf EVA-8 because it has the mastiff's single shot reload system, a bigger mag size than all of them (not to mention the ranged option), and a really static/easy to use shotgun spread and hipfire.

The ONLY problem I have with the Repeater, is that – and afaik it's the only gun that does this – is because of it's gimmick shooting rhythm, if you hipfire with it and then try to ADS mid-shot, the game is unresponsive and won't ADS you like you know it should/would with other guns.

Hard disagree with TT bias to Scout. TT long range is going to do 23s or 46's. Sure you can get the disgusting mid-range charged 3-hit headies, but its fire rate is slow also. You can kill someone with the Scout faster than you can with the Take, and it's far more forgiving and suppressive. The amount of times (even pre-package/pre-ground loot nerfs) I've killed someone with a scout and just took a moment to pause and go holy shit that guy just died in 0.8seconds no counterplay is wild. It is easier to hit and get SOME kind of damage, on the triple take though.

  5. I've been rocking flatline x wingman in ranked and it's pretty lit. Late game you can loot a shotty from someones box, but the flatline x wingman combo is great for ammo and distance, and you can keep a x2 and x1 hcog on them. If i find tons of energy i can swap out the wingman for a triple take for that extra damage

  6. I would say the peacekeeper and the mastiff have the same relationship as the r99 and the car. While on paper the peacekeeper and the car are better, a lot of people prefer the r9 and the mastiff because of comfortability. They are more forgiving. And with all 4 of those guns it really comes down to which ones you practice with. I have ptsd from s7 mastiff so I've personally never liked the gun. I practice with the pk and when you're used to the cocking animation you learn to play around it. Same as r9 car. I practiced so much more with the r9 than the car and at first, despite the lower ttk and higher dps, the car didn't feel good to use. I've been using it more recently at strictly close range and the thing shreds. It is worth getting good with. Like you said Noko, it all comes down to preference. #3030isbestshotgun
