Depends where the line of cheating is lol by my definition I'd say at for every legit predator theirs one cheater.
80% of Apex Predators are cheaters…Because all they do is play games for 14 hours a day without getting money or streaming, so they don't get caught.
There's certainly a few bad eggs but if you genuinely believe 30% + are cheating you're honestly nuts. The percentage of cheaters isn't that high & shouldn't be used as an excuse as to why you're having a personal issue climbing the ranks. And I mean like long-term players. Not people who pop up and got Pred with a fresh account type cheating. I mean the incognito, multi-split Preds using real names and having a profile. And when it comes to console; there are more kids in plat with strikepacks than there ever will be in Pred because they honestly believe they are Pred level they just need to same strike packs they think all Preds have.
I'm going to say maybe around 80% of them cheat.
On console the majority
I’ll say this; if a pred player isn’t really promoting themselves on social media, there’s a high probability that it’s because they don’t want to be caught cheating lol.
If you play enough to be an apex pred and maintain the rank on BOTH splits, then I would imagine that you’d WANT your name out there (in some way) for recognition. The fact that there are many who aren’t out there making waves leads me to believe that some of them are cheating in some form or fashion.
A lot of preds and pros imo have some type of cheat, and more keep getting exposed
On console I bet every second pred is using a Cronus or a Strikepack since that shizzle is not detectable……. But that’s life I guess
From my experience facing apex preds, most of them were either aim botting or pro players. This was only in diamond btw.
I am so over the FPS genre. Every game I play has blatant rage hackers. Who knows the % of people in your games who are better at hiding it. Warzone, apex, halo, no matter the fucking game, you're running into hackers. Gone are the days knowing you were beaten straight up. To think about the people who can sit in the weeds and use soft hacks and get away with it, makes my blood boil. Aint no way in fuck when I jiggle peak from a new position for the first time you're turning me into a 1 shot. I would not be surprised if there is a hacker in every single lobby of apex, whether it be cronus, walls, soft aim bot, anti recoil scripts, macros, just people are smart enough not to be a full on rage hacker and blend in.

Console lobbies are looking better and better every day
I play in pred lobbies. Lots of cheaters. Apex won't do shit because it's less than 2% of the player base in the lobbies I play in. They don't give a shit. They just keep rolling out new skins for the casual player who pub stomps.
i think most of them use wallhack. Everyone who plays with aimbot is stupid and bad at the game.
For the last 4 season's the cheaters have been getting more comfortable knowing they can get away with it, so it will definitely come's with no surprise most preds, content creators and streamers will be cheating for money.

Seems like cheating in pred ranked has grown rapidly over the past couple of years. Wouldn't be surprised if 80% of preds were using soft aim bot or walling all together. Feel sorry for legitimate preds that have to constantly deal with the struggle of running into a team full of cheaters or individuals.
Me was the first when i said 80% of players using cheats, is true , NO HARD CHEATS because they will be banned, just SOFT, not to be caught.

also new problem in apex legends right now is lag switchers happened to me yesterday in pubs and ranked sometimes in a middle of game or at the end

While apex pred cheaters are getting banned Mean while the rise of false positive ban after split 1 its only rising, and EA support is just terrible since they only support atm email team what is a literal bot, you need to wait option of real time agent or call get avaible to finally have a human check your acount details and prove you were false positive ban and finally unban you, this game support have become a meme since season 10 with code snake, idk what is going on with respawn but if this stupid actions keep rising the game will roll to death more faster than 1 year
