Yo… I think….. the leader of the Firelights… maaaaaaay be… Ekko? We didn't see him at all during Act II.
She looks nothing like vi other than the hair yet every reaction channel keeps confusing her lol.
Jinx tought it's her sister at the beginning but then she regognized it's not her, thats why she shot that girl, she even tell Silco later tht it was just som rando.

Jinx didn't shoot that girl thinking it was Vi. We see exactly what she sees: Vi for a split second, then just a girl that looked like her. Jinx realized right away it wasn't actually Vi, then shot her.
I personally love Cait's character.
Her refusing to get a cushy position in politics next to her mom because she wants to see the world.
Going against direct orders from higher ups to be a detective.
Flat out breaking people out of prison to help her solve crime.
Her set up at home and small detail of standing on the foot stool to get a "better view".
And I personally love when they go a route with a character model to make a woman more… athletic and not just an hourglass shape like most men draw women. I think she is going to wreck shop in this show later on. She looks like a fucking beast out of uniform.

Interesting how so many people are getting that impression. The way the pink haired girl looked at Jinx like "who the fuck?" made me instantly realize it wasnt Vi but most people seem to truly think it was despite that look she gave.
the way jinx acts near silco is to show that she hasn't matured much because of her trauma, so it may seem weird to ppl watching but it's still a father daughter relationship. in fact part of the reason she might have not matured is because silco doesn't hold her accountable for her mishaps, like a pampered child. she was a little girl when he "adopted" her and he sees himself in her relationship with vi
I keep hearing Joker references but like… she is literally Harley Quinn. She's in love with her captor in a weird "your my daddy" sort of way. She loves violence and chaos. And she's got the hair minus half of it being red.

It seems very obvious that they are kind of father and daughter. It's just that Jinx is immature and doesn't have boundaries. It's so apparent. I don't know how it felt sexual to some people lol 😅

Don't worry they only have a father-daughter relationship but I can see why you could think they have "that" Joker and Harley vibe but it's not like that. Powder is just a very clingy child, she's always been like that it was just amplified even more after the time "she only wanted to help". Combine that with her mental instability and Silco basically letting her do almost everything she wants. Makes you think what could've been, Vander would've been the father that is strict but very kind while Silco could've been that scary looking uncle but actually spoils all his nephews/nieces. But alas this ain't Disney, this is Runeterra.

It's funny how in this rare instance having no background knowledge of the game is actually beneficial to the watching experience. Cause I watched with friend with no league knowledge and they were all so shocked about Jinx's development lol

Oh…no…Jinx makes the Joker look like a dude with a mild Manic-Depressive disorder. Her brain has been permanently physically damaged by the strain she's experienced. She fried syanpses with everything that happened at the end of ep.3. Nothing will help her now. Nothing at all.
Also…Jayce does have a bit of an ego, but it's actually not all that noteworthy. He still has the same goals as before, but he's being dumped into the world of the politics that determine whether or not they can do their work at all, and where it can go. He and Viktor liked to think that science was its own purpose, that progress was its own reward. Jayce is being forcibly confronted with the fact that that's just not true. The only science that happens, is that which benefits those who decide whether any of it happens at all. And without that, scientists don't do squat. Even Singed depends on a benefactor, in Silco. Science isn't free. And Jayce has to face that first-hand, now…and he hates it, but he's starting to understand. Viktor, by contrast, is still a science purist…not realizing that his work exists only because of the support of politicians, and without that support, none of it would be possible at all. He still thinks if you just do the work, the results will follow, and that you can do the work on its own, that nothing else is needed.

This show…..this show is legendary
The main difference between Jinx, The Joker, and Harley, is that Jinx actually has a better backstory and more tragic. Harley is just a character that falls in love with the Joker and gets thrown into acid, and gets crazier. Joker in most of his movie and tv adaptations so far has had no real reason as to why he's crazy, he simply is for no reason. Finally, Jinx has trauma, PTSD, and many other mental problems because of her tragic backstory, way better imo.

Jinx is indeed insane. It is so cool to see her Joker personality in the show instead of just game audio though!
