  1. Caitlyn famously uses cupcakes in her Yordle traps (players often mention "eating the cupcake" when stepping on her traps or "don't eat the cupcake" as a warning) – that's why the cupcakes that were shown early in episode 1 of Arcane are an easter egg. It also makes it an easter egg of sorts that Vi later calls Caitlyn "cupcake" as a nickname.

  2. The Project Series is the one I recommended you guys react to! It's the skin I use on VI, and its absolutely my favorite. Def check the Project cinematics on the side, even if you don't react to them. Very Bladerunneresque feel to them.

  3. You guys didnt see Vi inside officer caitlyn skin. It is in the blured left side. Also pls dont waste the skins using half blured image. I am pissed. There are buch of details in it. Also you guys missed the caitlyn in vi's officer skin. Also there are few skins that you didnt see either. Ingame caitlyn you saw was not the lastest cait. Caitlyn reworked and become much much better which you didnt see. And You guys didnt see jayce q ability because didnt wait enough. It is powered huge rocked shoot like in arcane. Its after hammer punc just need to wait for it also didnt see other abilities. Pls if you react the skins dont skip them in one seconds. There are buch of details in every skins. Try findimg them.

  4. While this was all nice, it seems like you’ve missed a few skins from the champions shown here. Since the skins aren’t all in the league website unfortunately

  5. I highly recommend the video "How Powerful Are Champions According to Lore?" by Necrit. Necrit does a lot of lore stuff for the League of Legends universe in general and that tier-list video is a great way to put things into perspective imo. ^^

  6. 2 things.

Arcane is not canon. These characters are not the same characters.

Stop trying to rationalise the skins into regions. They are simply alternative universe versions of those characters (there are some skins that this does not apply to)

    Great video 🙂

  7. Important to note something here, the little text you see of the characters were meant to be vague generalized descriptions of the character's background, personality traits, and their motivations. This was deliberately done for pretty much every character in LoL because Riot's first priority was to create badass avatars for players to wreck shit with, not to create in-depth characters for people to connect with emotionally. This is why the show Arcane exists, basically the characters in Arcane were part of a foundation, Arcane is in the process of building the house on top of said foundation. Also, according to the people in charge of the show, it will be taken to the present "and beyond", which seems to allude to taking things even further into the future.

Which makes sense to me, the endless status quo of conflict works well enough in a video game like LoL, but it makes for poor entertainment when switched to a show format. Also, I don't know what you've been told about the canonicity of Arcane, but let's just say it's a little bit complicated, Arcane may not follow all of the canon to the letter, but since characters from Arcane are now and even before the show was released, saying things relevant to the events that happened in the show, clearly large relevant chucks of it are canon. So as far as adaptations go, it's gonna be one of those where certain details may not have happened in the original canon, but the general path is still faithful to the original source.
