You were right about the Void. Many of the creatures and champs that are influenced by the void are purple and glow. Rek'sai is a creature from the void. She can swim underground and teleport to her targets. Kai'sa and Taliyah fought Rek'sai (and I'm assuming her children) in the Call cinematic. Void creatures are a form of corruption that throughout history found their way onto Runeterra.
Kai'sa lived in a city called Icathia. Due to some magic meddling, Icathia was transported to the void. She survived there by hunting void monsters using a living symbiotic suit made of a void creature. She later found a portal back to Runeterra.
Btw Ryse is the mage who saves jayce and his mom 😛
guess what, lets go back to arcane, victor used the crystal with runes. these runes are used in game as something you choose in loadout. and those gems ryze was keeping (except one was missing) were linked to those runes, atleast in their colors.

Rek'sai isn't a demon. SHE is a voidborn monster. The queen of Xer'sai a type of void underground monsters.
All void monsters have a ' in their name: Cho'gath, Rek'sai, Kha'zix, Kai'sa, Kog'maw etc. Although Kai'sa was human, daughter of Kassadin, she fell into the void as a little child and this absorbing Void monster took over her body like Venom from Marvel. It protects her from the void monsters and helped her survive until she escaped the void. Although it's hunger needs to be satisfied or she will lose control over her body.

just a small heads up,the void and demons are two totally separate things,same as demons are separate from darkin,demons date longer than creation some legends claim,the void is anothher dimention that is based on survivor of the strongest creatures that want to eat away anything they can from runeterra.
In League.. when we hear the word Arcane.. the first Champion that comes to our mind is Ryze… 🤔
Anyways, He is the string that connects every region of Runeterra.. He collects powerful runes to keep.. (not to harm.. but to maintain balance..) 😅✌

Ryze is the last Guardian of the Rune's after the "Rune War's", which Hiemer ( little furry 300yr old dude ) saw what Magic can do and the power struggles magic can cause – both with-in oneself and in Culture's. That is why he fears magic's return and why he dedicated his life to science and invention… "Magic is like a loaded Gun, pulling the trigger makes its easy for lazy solution's". Ryze is the Balance for returning the Runes to a secure prison – then he can die with that prisons secret.

The best way to read into league lore is not really good evil/important or lesser characters. Its more like a culture like Demacia (consider good with their knights in armour and stuff but is super racist against magician) or Noxus (where War is like their lifestyle so they fight a lot, especially with Demacia (Mel Mum is from Noxus). Most characters have their own story so they are kinda important? Even if they arent out in the game yet its kinda like a teaser for later. Like lucian wife was tease super long before she get added. And the one narrating the story is Nasus (the dog u saw) league players know because he is renekton brother .

They dont realize that they saw ryze in arcane, ryze is probably the most important champion in leagues lore
The thing is what heimerdinger see on jayce invention in arcane is runes which is why heimerdinger prohibited jayce for not making magic similar to runes because it can lead to what ryze see the lava coming out the ground burning the Capital that is what called runes war

Ryze is speculated to be the guy who teleported Jayce and his Mother from the mountains. He used to look normally but the runes changed him. He is like the original wielder of arcana in the lore.
There is a VI song too, it does not have a fancy video but the song is realy good and fits her charackter amazingly. Thresh and Diana have some little songs to, i think Diana´s was one of the first things they have done with music. Also the newest (the third) album of penta kill has a whole show that was livestreamed and ppl could take part in. You can still watch it and listen to the amazing songs.
