  2. This show is great when you’re paying attention.

You don’t need to know anything about the game or the lore to understand the show. You just were falling asleep / not paying attention.

It’s actually crazy how many details you guys missed throughout your reactions.

  3. You gotta empathize with Vi and Powder a bit though, both sisters have some sort of mental disabilities imo. Vi has some anger management issues whereby she pours out her emotions and solves her problems through her fists rather than choose a radical solution remember in episode 1 when Vander told her that her fists won't solve anything but just makes more of them, she realizes this when she punched her little sister. Powder on the other hand has some abandonment and attachment issues wherein she relies on Vi so much because she's the only blood family she's got after witnessing their parents' dead bodies on the bridge due to that she does not want to be separated from Vi, her crying her heart out back in their room is probably her coping mechanism after being separated from her sister for so long.

  4. Violet disobedience is also what lead to all that chaos happening, Vander told her that the upper city was off limits and they no business going there. Violet told powder all her life that she is ready, so when powder gets told your not ready it crushes her and has a full blown panic attack, she wasn’t just crying in that scene. I’m not accusing powder fuck up she did mess up big time and violet had a reasonable reaction in that moment but again violet is just as to blame for the their foster family as well

  7. Powder is undoubtedly the victim in all of this. Little 9 year old girl trying to makr nail bombs work and everybody just like "yup this is normal here." Society failed powder and this is the result. She found TNT and nobody ever told her not to use it.

Vi knows she fucked up hitting her. That's why Vanders words hit her back in that moment. Compassion was needed and instead the circle of violence continues.
