and Rio's blood is the source of chemtech. it turns green when finished.
when they show the new "Undercity" , there's a scene where people worship some sort of turtle being in green lights, if you look closely, they're offering him eye-balls as hee wear those eye balls on his neck, he also have an eye tattoo on his arm. there re also many purple eye neon sign everywhere in the undercity now as the shimmer become a comon thing down there. shimmer might be Void juice with that kind of symbolism, that's why Heim saw vision of the Void from the Hexcore, the "river's filth" is in Viktor'ss blood (so is Silco and probably Jinx too now)

I found it cool how Viktor saw himself in Rio, how both beings must survive to serve a greater purpose like to Rio is his healing abilities or to Viktor is that he must live to benefit humanity to glorious evolution.
