  1. Holy shit, this kinda explains a lot of my deaths when wearing faceshields thinking im safe from scavs. Head, ears is always the culprit but the scav is mostly in front of me everytime, so odd!

  2. In the upcoming wipe, they will probably be adding hit boxes to armor, helmets, and visors. If look under the base game content in upcoming features on the tarkov gamepedia, it mentions “realistic armor plate location and hit boxes”.

  3. They need to add AirPods or something when you can’t have any ears. They can double as basically hearing aids and actually work decently to amplify sound in the area.

  4. Was a great video! Just wondering your thoughts on ricochet chance? Did you notice high ricochet chance being a major factor vs low/medium ricochet chance? Is it worth running high ricochet chance vs higher armor class 🤔

  5. I know you’ve made a video like this in the past, but I was wondering if you could do an updated version? Would it be possible to test things like, do loading mags make sound or is it only client side? When throwing a grenade does the initial “throw” make sound? When out of breath, does that also make sound? Does your inventory make noise when you open it in raid? I know this is a lot but I’ve never been able to test these since I don’t have anyone to play with ;( . Thnx brother nice vids as always.

  6. In my opinion, the hitbox for ears should be changed so that it doesn't instantly kill you, but instead causes loud ringing as if you were stunned by a ricochet on your helmet, cause a small HP loss for the head, and have a high chance to cause light bleeding.

  7. You should not consider this a bug. This is the result of a simplification of reality into a system that is suitable to be used in a game engine that has some very niche and outlying cases where hit registration doesn't match what you'd expect in reality but is further obscured by the fact that due to the speed of the action this goes unnoticed 99/100 times in the randomness of battle in general. This is an absolute non-issue and shouldn't need to be changed.
