  2. With all that’s going on with Cyberpunk at the moment, 343 STILL wants to ship Infinite on current-gen?? 🤔🤔

That’s my elephant in the room right now… their track record with launches is not good.

  3. I stopped playing halo about 3 months ago because too many tryhards. Too many kids watch their favourite halo youtubers and streamers and try super hard to be as good as them. Happens in cod and even in dark souls. Online mp sucks.

  4. A developer inside 343 said it’s been a disorganized mess. He said that 343 hires tons of contractors to work for close to minimum wage for 6 month increments so they can save money on development costs. And the contractors accept the pay so they can have HALO on their resumè. And the core development team have to figure out how to take hundreds of disjointed pieces and make a coherent game out of them. Research shows that they’ve burned through tons of project leads and the game has been disorganized and directionless for years due to the incompetence of the higher ups.

  5. This deserves a like. Good job on the video! Only meh was I felt like you kind of skipped over talking about the detail of that elephant to get to the optimism but I understand why; as halo fans don't tend to like other, ironically, halo fans giving constructive feedback. Which I understand as there were a ton of bungie only fanboys who just railed on 343, unlike fans like favyn who presented his ideas in a clear and fluid manner.

I agree the 10 year plan is good for halo if they do it right (343 please dont give us campaign spartan ops 2.0). But I don't know if being free to play will get the population to be as big as its ever been. If the marketing team fails to actually market this game efficiently, then I don't think halo will see a huge population retention. Halo has failed to capture a new audience for the last 13 years, I don't think being free will add that many tbh on its own without efficient marketing. I mean just look at the numbers on steam for MCC. 2009 Left4dead 2 has more players on average than mcc with 6 whole games. But I am optimistic.

  6. the real elephant in the room is that it’s supposed to be launching on last gen and current gen consoles. I hope they come to their senses and only make it come out on the series consoles and not xbone

  7. The old gen consoles will hold the game back. It will not be as good as it could be due to having to be able to play on 8 year old hardware by the time it releases.

Also how will it last "10 years" on old gen consoles? Which will already be 8 years old upon release of Halo: Infinite. 10 +8 = 18 years

They need to scrap old gen.

  8. The delay is perfect, the series needs a long break imo, this will give plenty of time to build up the hype before release, make no mistake though, this game must deliver for the series.
