But why the par-lee pronunciation? I know it can be par-lay or par-lee, but it makes me mad to hear par-lee.
That mindflayer seems like a pretty chill dude lolXD!..
I can't watch with that tentacle gone wild… disturbing. Fix this in patch please….
The tentacle clipping and rag rolling somehow looks adorable af
Pardon me sir, but one of your tentacles appears to be caught in your button-hole!
What part of the game is this I've played it a few times an never got here
Mindflayer: I can't remove it normally, but if you get some shrooms
At this point wouldnt it be easier to smash his head and then ressurect him?
So… I presume Baldur's Gate series is under D&D rules? Then, why not let him die, extract the tadpole from his head, and then… Ressurect spell by a Cleric?
Those tentacles made me laugh when I first saw the one. And why am I imagining the Illithid sounding like Zoidburg?
So… Not all Mind Flayers are evil?
Christ they need Mind Flayers to keep their heads up while talking. He keeps ducking his head and making his tentacle spasms worse.
What race is that first guy you're talking to? I don't recognize it.
Anybody else laugh out loud when he failed to save?
So basically there is no cure
I've ran the "Out of the Abyss" 5e campaign and there is SO much stuff in the Underdark part of BG3 that shows up from it. It's so cool to see encounters & characters from an adventure we played brought to life like this!
People complaining about the title…seriously…how old are you? Don't click on the vid if you don't want to see the spoiler. You brought yourself here.
The twitchy clipping of tentacles is unsettling.
I enjoy a good Illithid. In the game books, there can be people that become illithids but retain themselves, overpowering the parasite. They end up hunting the ones who tried to turn them.
For whatever reason the first guy and every spore being is hostile towards me
Wait…where do you find these guys?
I put 60 hours into Early Access and I wish I would have waited. Not because its a bad game, but because I wish I could play it from start to finish after seeing how good act 1 was. Honestly loved every minute
tentacle glitch is cracking me up
An entire game based around illithids and they couldn't get tentacle physics even remotely right.
It's been like 7 updates and they do nothing but fix multiplayer crash bugs.
Fix.
Your.
Fucking.
Animation.
Glitches.
T posing cutscenes, teleporting companions, shifting from one emotion then resetting to default face and pose before quickly jumping to the next one are the only issues I care about.
they need to fix that tentacle.
I’m not familiar with Illithid lore, but can some tell me if a longer incubation period means an Elder Brain tadpole?
Restless tentacle syndrome? Lol
Somthing doesn't look happy about being still in beta.
All through this, all I could think of was, "Wow, that one tentacle is going wild!"
This ring is priceless to me.
I'll give you ten bucks for it.
Sold!
can we date the mindflayer yet?
Try TO stay focused, not try AND, jesus fuck, don't let this get established in AAA game english localisations, it's bad enough laziness in real life…
i love the fact that a hag and another mindflayer werent able to remove it but fucking volo is ableto with an icepick
This game needs a bit of work still. Those tentacles are spazzing all over the place.
How did they fuck up the tentacles THAT badly when the mind flayers are so central? Please tell me this is a hardware issue
Bad tentacle day.
I never quite got how the ilithid and githyanki fart about the astral plane when the God's domains were supposed to be there, I guess they're like extreme gated communities that don't give a shit what happens outside them
A mind flayer that isn’t an asshole weird but super interesting
I find the hobgoblin's righthand animations more irritating than the ragdolling tentacles. Can't talk without lifting it.
I've been playing for 30 hours, for different characters, but I haven't crawled to this place yet because the game is very poorly optimized….. I Went to look at the video just bcs why not,the person doesn't know how to trade… Did he give his things to merchants for nothing? Not bad for an anarcho-Communist, but pretty bad for you
( Sorry for my English, not a native speaker)
Can't turn him down because you don't want to put him at risk? Only options are "Nah, I want power" or leave to refuse?
The whole fetch quest is just a scam for you to buy his stuff.
What race is the first dude? He looks like a goblinoid drow hybrid
Added: I like how the tiefling protagonist is just distracted by the clipping tentacle the entire time
Tfw your beard phases through your mask.
Imma be honest I never really got into DnD but I watched a streamer play this game and I've been watching lots of Arcadum and I can't wait for this game to officially release. I considered trying to find a DnD group at the college campus I'm at but its been both a combination of no groups due to covid and honestly I'm still unsure of how much I don't know and I wouldn't want to ruin anyone's immersion with my constant questioning
Tadpoles need brain matter to grow. The dead eye stare from the MC makes me think the skull is empty. Tadpole probably died.
I fear taking the ring would make him get noticed by the elder brain and brought into the group consciousness
where is this?
