THE FIRST DUO TORGHAST CLEAR! Now that the Shadowlands expansion has been released Asmongold and Mcconnell can finally try one of the most important features of the expansion. This is not the same “infinite” Torghast dungeon Asmongold run during the beta but apparently its still the hardest Torghast mode currently available. Soon new modes and bosses will be released…

  1. I don't understand how Asmon can say that Fury lacks a variety of abilities when he goes for all the passive talents instead of abilities like onslaught, dragon roar or siegebreaker…

Fury is quite sluggish right now but that's only due to a lack of secondary stats like haste, so I guess that'll be fine for most fury players when raiding gear comes into play.

  2. Seriouse question i appreciate the content i watch these videos a lot since i started up WoW again. Love the content was more curious about the creator. Does this guy have a history of turrets or something similar? I only ask because i notice he makes strange faces and hes always moving his eye brows opening his eyes wide its a little strange makes you think he may have some medical condition.

  3. the people bringing up FF14 all the time are so annoying, Asmon would not like it and wouldnt even last if he tried it. The game is great its my main mmo but the community is so passively toxic its insane. you cant even cuss in the game. Asmon would just get mass reported by snowflakes and get banned instantly. the game is filled with very thin skinned snowflake adults that act like man babies. And dont get me started on the North American GM's for the game my god a group can spam the report button on u and get u banned so quick for saying "nerd". YES u can get banned in FF14 for sayin nerd. The GAME is amazing but the community is filled with some of the biggest adult babies i have ever seen.

  4. My best time in wow was mid wrath when I was heroic raiding and chain pulling heroic dungeons for hours with my guildies. Torghast reminds me of that time but I always buy the new expac and then quit after a month or two so i'm holding out.

  5. I was a fan of Mcconnell as a fellow paladin concerned by the lack of effort put into Retribution, but not anymore. He made this big stand and claimed he was going to try to give a megaphone to the problems Retribution has been having and he got so close to stirring up enough attention and then he and Savix just gave it up. Ret is still in an awful position for PVP and they nerfed our damage big time just in time for the SL drop, just like everyone said they would.
I rushed to 60 just to see if Ret was finally once again going to be a fun class to play and wouldn't you know it, nothing fucking changed. I'm still permanently glued to the floor by mages outside of my paltry movement CDs. I'm still permanently slowed by anything ranged outside of my paltry movement CDs. I'm still barely able to use my burst damage because it's so visual and easily avoidable.
Only now, I have to contend with yet another class possessing the ability to break the one thing that keeps me from having to get ganked 5v1 as an Ally in WM in the open world.
I'm at the straw that will break the camels back. If the next content patch is the same Rogue/Mage/Lock at the top I'm unsubbing and putting WoW to bed. I'll find something else where I can play what I want and it doesn't seem like another person is getting more for their money because the development team doing class design makes sure the classes they play stay on top.

  6. I downloaded a new UI for the new Xpac experience. And it feels like a brand new game and i can honestly say its amazing how immersive it feels going zone to zone and tearing thru the shadowlands. A whole new love again

  7. @23:20 that's how all expansions are, there's no expansion i can remember that sucked during the first few days. The initial gearing is ALWAYS fun, leveling up professions, just seeing the content is good. Then you see everything and that's when the expansion either fails or succeeds.

  8. My dream Torghast would be capped item level like challenge mode dungeons, a true test of skill with roulette boss line ups and skill sets. Traps galore and super rare boss encounters with special rewards (mounts, cosmetic armor, spell effects etc). They're in the Shadowlands, they can use any villain from days gone by or perhaps a good guy gone bad, corrupted versions of past heroes. Blizz doesn't take risks or try anything new so it looks like it will be an infinite trash farm you can eventually trivialize with good gear.

  9. What do FFXIV mean with Torghast is the exact same as something in their game. The only thing I can think of are deep dungeons and they don't have random ability powerups and the like. It's nothing like Torghast outside being randomly generated.

  10. Completely disagree with Asmon. The more complex something is, isn't equivalent to interest. That line of logic only applies to pseudo-intellectuals.

If a game is complex, but doesn't feel fun from a feedback whether it's input/reward systems than it ultimately fails 90% of first impressions.

Jerking off is the most cave man instinct, and lacks any complexity, but you do it for the nut.
