  1. They need to just add back Realm First Achievements. It used to create entire communities of people known for realm firsts who made people race for profession maxes, level maxes. They should add back Realm Firsts and Add more of them.

  2. Bout time they started copying FFXIVs' reward system. Still won't respect them until they sync reps between characters on the same server and same faction, outside of the choice between two exceptions.

  3. I honestly don't have an issue with what they've done with covenants… I see why they did it, and support their decision. I refuse to jump on the 'band wagon' just because s small slice of the wow pop doesn't like having ultimate flexibility. It's WoW, and much of the weighty decisions have been simplified. I want those decisions back. I want to dive headlong into a covenant on one toon, then different ones on others. It's all good… GG blizz.

  4. The fact that I had to watch this section 15:23 a few times to make sure I was hearing it right speaks volumes about where we are right now in the game. The fact that blizzard created a system that exists solely for amusement rather than to improve some arbitrary power level to keep us playing it is a huge step forward from where we've been and it absolutely hurts to say that

  5. The Maw is an unfinished endgame zone. It's obvious it's meant to play like Suaramar, but we'd need to delay Shadowlands into April next year to finish it. The Maw will be the 9.1 patch's major content drop.

  6. Imagine this, we choose a covenant right. But when we enter a dungeon or raid or whatever, we have an option to call an emissary from another covenant. We are able to temporarily bind ourselves to their cause, but we lose favor with each other covenant for as long as we remain "conscipted" to them. They could even make it to where your chosen covenant loses the most. This way we can remain tied to one, but the choice of abilities can be adapted to different situations, albeit at the cost of rep/favor.

I feel this could solve all of the issues in a compromising way, what do you guys think?

  7. blizzard should do to the maw (and it is waht i think they are thinking) the same square enix did on ffxiv with the eureka zones: Zones where u cant fly, nor mount until u complete the zone, and super dense with strong mobs, and your "knowledge of the maw" will increase ur power and defense against the maw mobs, not by a lot, but by enough that you can explore harder areas without being 1shot. The maw should be a place that incentivizes group play where people would do rare mob trains, and the singular player could also slowly get "maw levels" farming steadily mobs alone.
the whole eureka pagos, anemos, pyros and hydratos was one of the best things the ffxiv team ever created

  8. I am just glad they are trying to make things how they used to be. I am glad they’re trying to get away from the “Carrot on a stick” philosophy that they have held onto for the past 4 expansions lol.

  9. I'm glad Asmon said that if Shadowlands takes two steps forward and one step back, he'll consider it an overall positive. My belief in all of mathematics would otherwise be shattered like the sky of Icecrown.

  10. I am a casual gamer that only switches on the computer for 2-4 hours a day at most, if at all; and I also don’t play just one game. When I log into WoW, I also don’t like the feeling of things being lile a must-do-chore as I lile playing more than one class. I don’t mean I want my best in slot gear from doing the entry level content, but it would be nice of the game became a little more alt friendly; meaning that it should be easier to get gear that’s viable for the more challenging endgame content. Feelz bad being rejected for ilvl and not being judged on playstyle or skill only. Thinking of returning to the game… but hesitant.

  11. Has anyone put together a compilation of the BS that Blizz has put us through over the years per each expansion – then compare and contrast and see if it's the same crap xpac after xpac? Then, when that's done, ask ourselves if it's our fault because we stay anyway?

  12. Challenging world content that comes to mind for me honestly was back in the day getting a raid together to take on the old raid boss dragons where only one raid could engage and tag it. We would always have a second raid group come along with more of our pvp focused players just to fend off the alliance assault that would nearly always come being on a pvp server :p Those tended to be crazy hectic fights but oh so fun. Never got around to playing Classic version of WoW so idk if they still have the true pvp servers from back then or not, but man that was some fun content.

  13. what if the maw was more like a solo dungeon and when you hit a new level of the eye you get thrown to a new one thats a bit harder. maybe the floor cracks and you slow fall into a new "layer of hell" essentially. and at the final layer the jailer appears and an animation triggers of him killing you in a brutal way.

  14. it's so easy to spot a multiboxer. removing follow will not help. the 2 seated mounts are better than follow, and that's what they do. The 2 seat druid flight form makes both players be able to herb without dismounting.

  15. Fill the maw with hard to kill world boss type mobs where even a full raid would have a hard time killing them. That would make it feel scary, running around avoiding mobs that will beat your ass. Like the dinos use to be in un'goro.
