I really don't feel a lot of need to do most daily and weekly chores, but I really like Island Expeditions and knock those out every week on 6 characters. But I also want to push my Heart of Azeroths as high as I can to put off replacing it in Shadowlands.
I understand being geared out and swatting ppl like flies is addicting but PvP should be exactly what it is. PLAYER VS PLAYER. Who is the better player? who is the better fighter? When you kill or die because you fight better or worse with whatever class you choose. NOT when Freddy Farmsalot bought some dungeon and raid runs and pisses in the wind with his new gear but you still cant kill the lousy bastard after making his head spin with how many times over you should of killed him already. Balance is when I have my class and you have yours so now lets see who knows how to use thiers better. If your insecure and need to feel good about yourself by swatting shit with ease because you have gear than your not looking for PvP

I think a raid that can only be beaten with alliance ad a dungeon for Horde based on class ability would be universal.

i dont like on retail every class have healing or good mobility ( problem wich healing its too big its not normal druid feral to overhill him self 120% or paaldin or shaman ) if you dps specc you supost to make dps and helaing like 15-30 % max ….. ( dh got 2 charges and mass stun monk got same Balance ? war must choice to have 2 charges or stun and cd its longers …. mage same he need put point for 2 blinks
This is why I pretty much never liked pvp in multiplayer rpgs. The design is inherently at odds with itself.
On one hand, you do want players who put in more time to feel like they're more powerful than those who don't because that's a sense of progression. Which works fine in pve.
On the other hand, pvp is or at least should be primarily about player skill, not who logged in to do their dailies more often.
Also, I agree that WotLK was probably the sweet spot for balance. Very little if any specs felt pointless, but things still had some identity.
Final Fantasy 11 had the most interesting loot of any MMO I've played.
Retail wow is really disgusting. The pvp scales. The part that really sucks is the only thing in retail wow is health and it scales too. In classic gear = Better odds of winning
When the traits first came out I was a paladin main and I one shot a person in arena I won 20 games in arena 2v2 then I lost 50 in a row cuz mages found out about traits
To bring back wow retail
They have to scale leveled zones that are 60 to current 60 so make all the raids that were 60 and 60+ now all 60 make all the raids relevant

Hurricane bow from plaguelands for a BM huntard. i used it to lvl 60, then BC came out and used it through that too, especially for pvp. that spam meant i critted way too often, so intimidation spam was a thing of legends 😀
