My idea for how the energy pistol could function is like a charge up blaster. Press and hold to charge up a shot, then let go to fire. More damage and faster projectile speed the longer you charge it up. It costs 1 ammo per second to charge, and can be charged for a maximum of 3 seconds, but you can keep holding it after that until you're ready to fire. Sounds like a lot more fun than the wingman to me.

P2020 and RE-45 are pistols that use Light Ammo.
Mozambique is a pistol that uses Shotgun Ammo.
A nice new addition to Season 12 would be Carepackaging the RATpag LMG for anyone with no skill to hipfire

my only worry for a dual pistol hop up is that we have a meta like warzone had for a while where it was an LMG/AR and the fucking diamattis, that shit was so annoying getting absolutely melted in 2-3 bursts with full armor.
