  1. morrow and new vegas, arguably the best RPGs of the last 20 years, are the only RPGs have featured the sort of factions that are being described in this leak, i really think having a myriad of ideology rly makes a world feel real and immersive

  2. As much as I love Obsidian, don't expect them to meet launch date goals. Really, you don't want them to. Historically when they get pushed hard to meet dates we get games like Alpha Protocol and Bloodlines which are massively flawed games with brilliant ideas.

  3. While i'm all for someone else making a cool open world RPG since i can't trust Bethesda anymore, i'm not sure how much i trust obsidian, they didn't exactly do well with dungeon siege III and most of games they are good at is the CRPG styles of games. So going into a first person open world RPG? I hope they do well but not sure they will have what it takes to knock Bethesda off the crown of open world RPG's of this type goes. But then again Bethesda is not with how they handled fallout 76 and all has completely lost all my trust as well. And then you see what happened with cyberpunk 2077 and yea.. i just don't trust any of this. It's another company trying to step outside their comfort zone to make something that will compete with a space dominated by other companies. I do wish they succeed and make something great, i'm just not giving them any hope and will see what happens when we actually see gameplay. I hope they don't pull crap most companies doing now, only showing you gameplay they want you to see why none of shortcomings only to see it's crap when it finally releases, like cyberpuk that only shows the hyped up crap on thier game and never actually showed any real gameplay because it's impossible when you got bugs popping up every few seconds, not to mention the features that was half ass implemented and a complete and utter joke like the police system in that game.

  5. Here is my prediction. The game will release after one or two delays. The game will still be buggy, but will eventually be patched. Despite bugs, the game's actual content will be stellar, but people will claim to hate it because it didn't work at full capacity on day 1 (a valid but overblown opinion). After a year or two, it'll probably have a cult following.

This is the cycle with all mainstream Obsidian RPGs. I don't see how this will be any different. In other words, if you can overlook bugs, it's gonna be great.
