i instantly hate the card system, they sound like unfair modifiers which can be somewhat balanced by MORE cards. You break the game intentionally and sell it as a feature. As a separate game mode for fun, i wouldnt mind, but its the same shit that ruined MK11 for me, among other numerous issues that game has. Its the main game mode that is unavoidable if you want to unlock stuff in the game, if that is even possible. You think you are adding variety to the game but instead you are making it more frustrating. And of course the cards are just a gateway for more meaningless microtransactions, which im sure there will be enough of it already, even without the cards. Lets hope that you will prove me wrong.
One thing, please don't show gameplay from a controller gameplay. It looks like someone is too bad to control his camera or just beeing stupid. Like in mobile apps with puzzles. Worst caste gameplay.

I really really really hope that this doesn't suffer the same fate nearly every other left 4 dead inspired game did. Then again it is made by the same guys so I'm confident that they know what they're doing and will make an amazing successor

Honestly though it's really pretty weak to make another game identical to the original and name it differently. This is China levels or bootleg originality. They made Evolve, why not make another new ip? Or get the right to L4D and make a sequel? People love and associate this with those original 8 survivors. This just cuts the love for the original characters, lore and world. But I would love it a lot if it actually explained the damn virus! I'm a sucker for pointless gritty details and lore. Especially the degradation and corruption of victims. The mutation, breaking of the mind, period in between conscious and madness. I love that dark nerdy stuff.
