  1. The publisher and dev team for this game are a worrying duo. Hopefully they don't turn this into a cash grab but considering that the Warner Bros are willing to put microtransactions in singleplayer games and Turtlerock has a history of monetizing literally every single thing they add to their games, it genuinely worries me.

  2. The main reason why I love l4d better than bfb is because of the guns I just love they way the gun shoots and how the crosshairs are small in l4d in bfb that whole concept changed

  3. Great comparison vid. Regarding the game, I can already see some serious issues. The sound design is really cluttered, it seems hard to tell what’s happening with all the background noise. Also the gun viewmodels are huge. They take up a massive part of the screen and reduce visibility more than any other game I’ve seen in years. It’ll be interesting to see the final product though, hopefully they can iron these issues out.

  4. L4d2 is much better even tho it is older because the game has that scary feeling of being overwhelmed and the fear of the unknown because of the atmosphere the fog and the silence that happen occasionally before being ambushed

  6. Fuck man i just dont know. Melee weapons dont cut and cleave as much unless you get melee cards (which reduce weapon damage adversely). There's limited different ammo types instead of a pile causing the gameplay to come to a halt so someone can drop you ammo. The card system with no "classic" mode yet(no cards). The whole copper currency thing is rather limiting with attachments costing too much for a gun you may swap later. Perks on the map also cost copper. Guns dont seem to have as much heft to them and penetration. The tank is too big to actually ambush/hunt the survivors. The retch has nearly unlimited range on the spit. Limited pistol ammo. Card system encourages a "meta" which decreases replayability. They already have a golr, deluxe etc versions with survivors and weapons (hopefully not cards) locked off for other players. You cant carry meds and medkits. Once you lose your health there is no way yo get it back ( the health bar goes black). Survivors have a lot less voice lines so they feel less unique. The molotov is no longer such a good choice. The players get covered in blood so there's a visibility issue leading to friendly fire. Flashlight comes on automatically (no toggle). There's not much of a que to let you know a special infected has spawned so you can prepare. You use stamina for sprint/melee from the same pool so good luck with hordes unless you stack stamina cards. The game feels like more of world war z then left 4 dead( the currency even looks the same along with gunplay). I know its just an alpha but this is just some of the differences i found. Hopefully they REALLY listened to the player feedback for Evolv3 cause so far i dont think they did.

  7. I think this game will die after a few years. Left 4 dead 2 survived so long because of the mods and Steam workshop. Thing that you don't have on B4B. Its like COD mixed with left 4 dead actually. And the thing I hate the most from B4B, is the Engine, it feels more like Cod like i said. L4D2 was and is something special because of the Source from Valve. Something that only L4D2 have, and that helps him to Face head to head other Future Zombie games, Like World War Z, Call of duty Zombies, And even Back 4 Blood. And left 4 dead is a 2009 game remember, and its still can match Zombie games from 2021, and its still the best Zombie game ever made!

  8. one things thats makes me triggered is Turtle Rock still too lazy to make 2 reload animation (1 empty ammo reloading and other is not empty or tac. reload)

just hope they listening and make 2 or more reload animation when alpha released for every single weapons and if can adding extra 1 bullet for every tac. reload like R6S, medal of honor, etc

  9. It doesn't seem like Back 4 Blood has a shove mechanic, which is a shame since it's the single most useful tool to have in a zombie game. I'll gladly trade ADS for a shove to be honest.

But the things I'll miss the most is the characters. I have no problems with their designs, but I just can't get over their dialogue.
