  1. I'll clarify here because obviously some people saw red when I name dropped "electoral college." Sorry about that.
What I mean is that all elections, not just this one, are important because there are state and local measures that will affect your lives. A lot of people ignore them entirely. I just want you to care.

  2. As far as competitive Raid play is concerned, as long as EVERYONE is under the same conditions then what does it matter?? NA and Europe have separate achievements so don't tell me that Europe has an advantage over NA because one has a holiday and one doesn't.

  3. I am struggling to get hyped for this expansion myself. I was excited a few weeks ago. then it got pushed back and the air went out of the balloon. Its very hard to get hyped twice so quickly. also i wont be able to get days off during this time of the year since its so close to December and everything is hands on deck at my work place. I am not even sure if I will be playing shadowlands at launch.

  4. Ewww, politics in a WoW video… Keep your opinions to your self, and your moral wonderment for having voted to your self. People who can vote are adults, they can vote if they want or they can not vote if they want. Shadowlands cares not.

  6. My biggest worry right now is the Maw as an endgame zone. Apparently it's still full of a whole lot of nothing to do?

Man… remember having something like Suramar as an endgame zone? I member.

  7. "The weaknesses of the electoral college" – Okay. The Electoral College is there to prevent the WHOLE COUNTRY from having to march to the tune of a handful of major cities. If it wasn't there, they could lock most of the rest of the country out of the process altogether, vote themselves resources from those areas, and reduce them to being nothing more than 'slave' or 'peasant' states. I believe the term is 'Tyranny of the Majority'. Our system is carefully balanced to prevent either that and 'Tyranny of the Minority'. That's why we have not only the electoral college, but also a bicameral legislature.

  8. I Thing competetive needs to chill abit. I mean I know what I will between Christmas and raiding, it will allways be Christmas with My family, I AM casuel now, but even at the time i was a hardcore raider, I will choose Christmas with family. Gaming shall not control your life.

  9. That hype train has been derailed for me by Beta, wished I never played it because questing is quite boring this time around even compared to BfA. I'm sticking around for the prepatch then giving it a break till January to see if I want to try again. For those of you hyped I hope you guys enjoy launch week and hopefully it's not a buggy mess.

  11. bah, i never voted in my life and never will. The only power you have is to change one crapy politic into power instead of another crapy politic or a better example:
you could vote for Hitler, Stalin, Kim Jong-un, Putin, Mussolini, Mao or Hirohito. Would you feel better if you had to power to bring one craphead into power instead of another?
So i do not vote, it does not matter which craphead gets into power if they are all shit.
The only person that has something from it is the person who is being voted in that is it.

  12. Without the Electoral College – which was the result of a compromise – the Constitution may never have been ratified and the US might no longer exist. It's okay not to like it but whining over it 233 years later is silly.

Also: The largest state back then by far was slave-holding Virginia. Personally I am glad that both the Electoral College and the 3/5th Compromise were put in place as the alternative could have been much worse.

  13. As far as professions, sadly going to toss engineering for probably inscription. Engineering just doesn't have anything crazy enough to draw anyone in imo, there's a few cool toys but I guess it will never ever be made forefront.

  14. I appreciate you, especially in your statements for everyone to communicate and tell Blizzard (and our government) their thoughts and opinions. No one can make improvements if they don't know what you want to improve! <3

  15. The electoral college is incredibly important. It stands as the only protection the minority has against the majority. Without it, the majority could cram their viewpoint down on the minority without challenge. It forces political candidates to form a coalition with people that aren't like them, if they want to be elected, and I think that's incredibly important. I know that it means we can have an election where the winning candidate doesn't have the majority (of votes), but that's kind of the point. The left is calling for it to be dismantled, but I guarantee that they would balk at such an idea if they were in the minority.
