This is the 4th part of my Baldur’s Gate 3 Beginner’s Guide Series, in this video, you will learn about Loot, Equipment, and Leveling. BG3’s Loot system is different from DOS 2, the Itemization provides an interesting choice for different classes and with a variety of different equipment slots and Loot rarity (Common = white, Uncommon = Green, Rare = Blue, Very Rare = Purple) of magic weapons and magic armors that give different weapon skills or special actions. With them having the most common enchantment is +1 on both weapon and armor. The difference between Simple Weapons and Martial Weapons is also something you should know, including weapon properties like Finesse, Heavy, Light, Range, Reach, Two-Handed, Versatile, Ammunition, Loading, and Thrown. Leveling is a very straightforward deal, you gain experience until you level up, I also touched upon milestone leveling. This leads to a character selecting a subclass and getting an Ability Score Improvement (ASI) or a Feat. I also discussed the probable level cap and the Power Spikes in the leveling curve which indicates the change in the Tier of Play.
