“Down By the River” is a beautiful song composed by Borislav Slavov for the game Baldur’s Gate 3. I was so excited to work on this cover, and I hope you enjoy it too! Check out some of the links below:

Such a beautiful melody by a lovely voice! I love this game for its soundtrack!
I feel I'm in love! <3
I swear I'm 90k of these 91k views.
Came back to listen to it again. So good… congrats on nailing this one 👏
@ 7 years old my friend and I went to the river and his brothers. We left but my friend never came back with us. They finally found him 2 days later. My best friend,,, never came back with me. Down by the river. 7 years old. He couldn;t swim & I warned them, I waited on the shore line watching. He went under his brother reached to his outstretched hand but couldn't clasp and he never came back up. I'll never forget the pain walking back home. I think of him almost every time I cross the bridge. It was long ago but when I look down from the bridge, we're 7 again & He's with God.
This is even better than the Chris Farley version.
Good job. Close by the Original.
More isn't always better, Rachael. You look way better with minimal make-up
Rachel, I absolutely love your gentle approach to this song.
Damn, I had to switch to my other Youtube account to like this twice…
Just one question — when will you have a full album published & when are you going to try out for the Voice?!
You should give The Weeping Dawn from Baldur's Gate 3 a shot too. I think you would kill it.
You must gather your party before venturing forth!

awesome
you're voice is just incredible! and some of those notes you cover, incredible!
You know, I've been writing a fantasy novel for ages and one of my main female characters has an incredible voice for special feature. While I was listening to some of your best covers, I thought this is exactly how I would imagine her singing. You're kind of a muse somehow!
Luckily I sound just like this girl because I'm singing this song at my next Renaissance Faire, wish me luck.
Lyrics:
Lace your heart with mine
Let your sleeping soul take flight
Take me through the night
Down down down by the river
Down down down by the river
Hanging moon in fog
Mists will lead where you belong
Sweep me off my feet
Down down down by the river
Down down down by the river
Down down down by the river
Inky embers
Swirl and dance
Just leap the flames to take a chance
To be with me tonight
Take my hand
And hold it tight
'Cause you and I are everywhere
The night is young
We're going down down down by the river
Down down down by the river
Down down down by the river
Don't wake me up
Just leave me there dreaming
💕💕💕
Her voice is Therapeutic
Beautiful
I Love it Rachel! And I'm back to listen to it again.
I'd love to hear you sing "I am the One" and "Leliana's Song" from Dragon Age Origins
After many years of listening to modern music, this style feels really refreshing. This takes me back to my childhood when we actually took pride in our cultures and sang this kind of stuff in elementary school.
Seems every cover of this song I heard is better than original. Begs a question..
Larian's soundtracks are so underrated
wow, this girl could be a model.
