  1. Damn those leather briefs looks like they would chafe! 😊
Do you know if the darkvision spell is actually working? Since it doesn't add the light to the area I just assumed it didn't work at all?
There is also a fantastic ring sold by Blurg in the underdark. Sunwalker's Gift . . . its item description isn't very clear but it removes the penalty for attacking enemies who are in shadow (I've tested and it does work) which negates the need for darkvision.

  2. I believe currently Two-Weapon Fighting Style does not do anything as it seems you still get your ability bonus to damage with the off-hand, even without that Fighting Style. At least until it gets fixed.

  3. Funny how 'game' only provides 1d6 damage for a scimitar or curved blade that in reality is designed to maintain a cutting edge (doing more dmg) against an opponent even longer than a european style 'long sword' or rapier which are more designed for a quicker 'razor' blade vs enemy at a longer reach. (Caveat would point out the longsword being not defined as the large weighted impact as one expects in either a broad sword or bastard sword style; meaning thin light blade).

  4. I always go for fog cloud as the spell choice and think magic initiate wizard is always good to get magic missile. I go 16 str at the beginning so dual wielding short swords is pretty good. Fog cloud just allows more control of the battle field where you can get archers off the high ground or use the fog for extra cover. Magic missile just offers more versatility against trickier to hit characters. Feel the versatility is more fun and more useful than 4 damage from wielding better weapons. I also choose high half elf so you get the free cantrip. Works as a nice battlemage right now 🙂

  5. I prefer urban tracker to wasteland wanderer. This allows my toon to act as a rouge. Choose Wood Elf for mobility and stealth. Choose a background with sleight of hand. The ditch the vampire. He sucks.

  6. I prefer a strength based dual wielder. The bonus to jumping and carry weight is huge. Also, the added weapon options make a difference later as magic weapons start showing up. That gnoll leader's flail is sweet, and it's crushing damage, the best kind of damage. I still keep my Dex at 14 for the AC bonus and ranged damage. I might change my mind about that if any good heavy armor shows it's face.

  7. This build using STR is kinda awesome probably my best playthrough so far…i would point out that apparently Hunters Mark is sort of bugged with Colossus Slayer because the damage doesn't stack so thats a thing…

plus you add can The Broodmothers revenge(necklace) and The Whispering Promise(ring) for healing and free weapon and bless buffs(or Absolute's Talisman if your wearing the gloves of power why not)
Ive not tried using them with aid but i believe it would give the whole party the buffs if used during a fight .. (not sure though)
