Here is my Baldur’s Gate 3 Evocation Wizard Build Guide, Evocation School is really the only option in the early access. But even still, there is plenty of choice in the spells you choose. I’ve aimed to use the elementals to manipulate the environment in this build while also focusing on survivability!

You covered everything besides the debuffs which I mentioned on stream but yah great tutorial and class man
I found a good way of spicing up the wizards damage was to get a warlock spell and pick a hex all of your multi hitting spells tricker another D6 dmg. Also having mirror image helps a lot saving your wizard from getting splattered to the ground.
Familiars can also be used for perception rolls. If everyone fails, recast familiar until 5ey pass the perception roll.
Wait what? You can learn divine Magic as a Wizard? WHAT? How does that work? Is it an early acces bug?
No love for the Magic Initiate FEAT? Really man? You don't want more cantrips and another level 1 spell slot AND another level one spell to pick? Come on bro, you know you want it.
Anyone tested if the trolls can be relieved of the headband via pickpocketing?
For defence…you missed the biggest one. Always have mage armor up – yes, then as your first action in battle, cast MIRROR IMAGE!!!!! Now you have way more survivability. Also, use Misty Step to gain the high ground. Then destroy all with magic missiles.
Wizard learning cleric spells must be a bug. That is broken af.
The headband is a lot worse than it seems because eventually you would want to equip a better headband but you can't because you're entirely dependent on the intelligence buff
Cast is the past tense of cast not ‘casted’ btw
With my feat I didn't put more points into intelligence I put it into Warlock feat to get Hex it does 1d6 per hit so if you combine it with Scorching Ray which is 3 hits it stacks on each hit which means you can pull off some 30-40 hits
Anyone think they'll nerf the headband?
not using all your movement up prior to attacking/casting so you can reposition out of vision and hide… always hide with wizard… simple survival 101.
