In Larian’s Panel From Hell 2, the studio showed off their biggest patch yet, with the latest addition coming to the game being the new Druid class and with it their wild shape ability allowing players to take the form of a plethora of beasts both in combat and while exploring the world.
But there are also several other changes coming along with the patch, namely big cinematic improvements, shinier speak with dead animations, quality of life changes, multiplayer and more!
Larian just got done showing off its biggest Baldur’s Gate 3 patch to date in its second Panel From Hell.
The biggest addition coming to the game of course being the new Druid class and with it their wild shape ability allowing players to take the form of a plethora of beasts both in combat and while exploring the world.
Druids feature heavily in the first act of the story in the early access version of BG3 so we can expect to see some changes whenever the world of wilderness and druids are concerned.
Players will be able to choose from druidic circles of the moon and the land, using their class abilities to shapeshift into anything from a badger, wolf, dire raven and more.
But there are also a number of other changes coming along with the patch, namely big cinematic improvements, shinier speak with dead animations, quality of life changes, multiplayer and more!

Looks really good, but I can't justify paying 60$ for the early access at this time at least.
What a cool looking game
Things Larian needs to do.
1. Blood doesn't need to be permanent. Ashes can fade away, so can blood over time.
2. Mobs should not have AE type throwables/grenades in general. It's something that in BG1 (and no not being "purist" just stating for low lvl D&D in general) mobs wouldn't have except for a very few special cases.
3. Denominations of money. Where are the copper and silver? If you start with everything in gold, it's hard to go anywhere from there. Start small, buff later.
currently playing pillars of eternity, it feels so fleshed. Just wondering if I'll have to wait a year post release of this to enjoy the same level of perfection..
This is not baldur’s gate, I was so hype because I loved the story and combat in the other ones. Please get rid of the dice roll and go back to the original combat style and this game might be good.
Shadows of Amn was so incredible and immersive even with the limited tools it had back then. Can you imagine what it would be like with this engine and graphics?
Can't wait for local coop to release
that was the most scuffed animation i've ever seen, i hope they improve those when the game gets fully released. Because i'd rather divinity 2 type of storytelling instead of bad animations. Gameplay is sick tho. I hope the whole game isn't that dark, i loved colorful environment of dos2.
Turn based top down combat? No thanks. Divinity original sin was enough boredom for one lifetime. The original Baldur's gate wasn't lame like this. They did top down right.
This is shaping up so great
4:36 why is this darker than any Diablo 4 footage so far? Isn't Diablo horror-themed?
Jumping is still in its original form? I’ll keep waiting
I wasn't sure about getting this game, but seeing the gameplay now compared to the trailer and screenshots over on Steam, I'm sold. Thanks for showing this!
well, 60 for EA and after almost 4 months of minor updates this is what i get? not amused…
Wow, game adds a DRUID class ! What an original, awe-inspiring addition that's totally never been done before!! I'm so excited to play some other lame, over-utilized character class that brings nothing new or original to the table.
I love they gameplay and turn based combat I'm just not feeling this story so far. Too much 'weird" and out of this world stuff.
looks at gameplay nope nothing is fixed, pretty sure druid is not going to work as intended in 5e either….really 5e is D&D for babies how can they be so bad at games they fuck it up
Is this game still excessively challenging and buggy?
The animation for the transformations looks amazing
Druids cant usually wild shape into a creature with fly speed for awhile. Interesting they put it in here
Divinity: original sin 3
Take your time and polish the game
looks cool
This game wicked reminds me of dragons age
I don't usually play this type of classic RPGs, but I'd like to get into it….I like the sense of adventure in it and how it's basically the manifestation of a tabletop/pen-and-paper RPG adventure come to life!
Does it support game controllers, or is it just keyboard & mouse?
I'm glad I've just dicovered Disco Elysium, damn I feel it's so phenomenal that it makes me forget the pain of waiting on BG3
When will I be able to play this class? I updated but there is still no druid class
Honestly I just want them to finish off the story line
Once they get rid of that over reliance on RNG I'll consider getting it after the early access cash grab.
Pause time combat is better,I’d rather not wait for the ai move thx 🙏
Hare Rama
New divinity game! Can't wait!
I didn't like this interpretation of Flaming Sphere, to me it should be a levitating sphere of pure flame, not a rolling lava sphere.
Larian Studios is the only one i have trust left after what happened with CP2077. If this gonna so enjoyable than D:OS 1-2, i wont be disappointed. However, preorder is a no-go from now on for me , thanks to CDPR….
yeeeeeeeeees! oh my god Larian i love you holy shit, my whole life i mostly played druid in dnd because of one thing; wild shape. Shapeshifting has and always will be my favorite power in anything. And there are very few games that have shapeshifting mechanics, or good ones at least. but this, this is going to be so much fun.
I loved Divinity 2 but the learning curve for these games is so difficult that I can never finish them.
Is this game out already? Or is it floating around in Beta?
YES! Im so playing a druid as in my heart that's my spirit power Nature all the way
Call me when they have barbarian half orc
I cant wait to make a custom Bob Ross druid
When is the full release? This year?
I am still waiting for my bard
Game looks great but I really hate the turn based combat. I wish they would make it more action with tactics like DA Origins. I hope someone mods it so I can play.
I'm just patiently waiting for this game to release before touching it. I still have both divinity original sin games to finish, so I'm not worried
so gameplay is much like fire emblem? I dont like the limited movement stuff. except in fire emblem.. but fire emblem has always been that way. baldurs gate use to be a diablo clone.. now its a diablo/fire emblem clone.
Am i the only one who for once, would like a druid to be able to shapeshift into a dragon or something like that? its always forest creatures, and while i think they are beautiful, i would really like something badass, like a wyvern or something for shapeshifting
have the hilarious dream cinematic bugs been fixed yet lololol I can't take the dream person flopping around like a fish anymore lmfao
Why is the dire wolf so small? it a large creature bigger then a horse..
I hate tactical rpg game.
Oh my…this is looking good!
