Chill Touch is one of my favorite Cantrips. It is ranged by default. Flavorwise a spectral skeletal hand flies out and grasps an enemy, so you can imagine it trying to strangle a foe. The ability to stop health recovery and grant Disadvantage to Undead are somewhat specialized but highly welcome bonus effects.
Jumping is a standard action in D&D, including a value for a running start. BG3 currently makes a lot of non-attack Actions into Bonus Actions during combat. Things like Jump, Shove, Help, etc.
