  1. you can have the cub without fighting the mother, you just need to speak with her (potion, spell) and convinced her that you're not food and then leave. you will find the cub at the goblin basement.

  2. Guys, a little question here. So … i killed cub's mom and left him in the cave. After some rest he disappeared. I know that he supposed to be in goblins camp, but the thing is that i already killed all goblins.

  3. my DM made an Owlbear cub appear to us, it was being hunted by wolves, the cub CLUNG to my character's leg while we persuaded the wolves to leave the cub alone in exchange for EGGS, and it worked, and now my character has a baby Owlbear as a pet

  4. DMing a D&D campaign right now where my players killed an Owlbear. They find out that it was a female and the Cleric of the party is DETERMINED to find the Owlbear babies. She's thinking of the dire wolves in Game of Thornes. The conversation went something like this…
Halfing: You know…Owlbear eggs are delicious.
Cleric: If you find Owlbear eggs and don't tell me, not only will I not heal you, I WILL STRAIGHT UP KILL YOU!
Me: Would you guys quit it with the Owlbear babies… And they're not Babies, I'm pretty sure their Cubs.
Paladin: Huh! This guy HATES babies!?
If your D&D games are not fun yet, put Owlbears in it.

  5. I didn't kill the mother but have the cub? I tried to sneak in to the armor with astarion and he got in combat. Used this to sneak to the armor with an another character and then ran away with astarion not killing any of them. Next thing i knew the cub was at the goblin camp?
