Batman: Arkham City Remastered (PS5) 4K 60FPS HDR Gameplay

Note: Batman: Return to Arkham โ€“ Arkham City Can only run at 60FPS using disc version 1.00 on PS5.

Batman: Return To Arkham
The remasters feature improved graphics, lighting effects, and more prominent shadows. Cityโ€™s framerate is unlocked, allowing it to occasionally rise higher than the original.
Both remasters come with all the DLC included.
PS4 version no longer allows 2 different control schemes, with B (L2/R2 gadgets, L1 detective mode) being the default one, similarly to Origins and Knight.
Jokerโ€™s hair is slightly darker, likely to better match his appearance in Origins and Knight.
Many character models (especially alternate skins) have much more detail in them.
The fibers in Batmanโ€™s suit and Catwomanโ€™s suit show more prominently and the clothes that the inmates wear show tears and blood splatters (Arkham Asylum with the Blackgate Prisoners and Arkham City with the Political Prisoners).
The Bat symbol on the Batsuit shows more prominently and the damage looks realistic.

Arkham City
Batmanโ€™s cape/cowl is now dark grey, instead of dark blue/purple.
Batmanโ€™s cape also shows the fibers in it, not just a smooth black color.
Jokerโ€™s Titan Disease makes Joker look more affected by it.
Clayface Joker retains the lighter design of Joker from Arkham Asylum.
All the DLC costumes are available for use within the main game rather than just New Game Plus.
Penguinโ€™s character model has changed only for the head section, he now has a different head model, and he now also has striped trousers instead of plain black, though because of the new head model it is possible to see through the bottom of the furred portion of Penguinโ€™s coat.
In the church, the Riddlerโ€™s projection screen is now green instead of a light yellow.
Like Asylum, there are slight changes in color schemes, such as the Gotham skyline, now blue instead of orange.
The wet grounds of Arkham City now reflect under lights.
The slight lag in the subtitles when listening to Thomas Elliotโ€™s voice message has been fixed.
The leather on Catwomanโ€™s suit is shiny instead of dull black.

  1. I completed this game ages ago can't they spend more time bringing out new stuff then I might be interested in getting a ps5 if I can get hold of one ?! As brilliant as this game is and it does look amazing but a new batman game …can't wait

  2. AC atmosphere was at itsโ€™ pinnacle for a complete Arkham series. Although I liked modernized character design of AK much more. Wish there would be 4th game made by Rocksteady which would combine the best from both.

  3. When I first played AC it was one of those rare gaming moments when my mind was blow away. The massive city, great combat, cool atmosphere. Everything combined to one hell of a game. One of the best games i ever played.
