It's workbench lvl 1 and not shooting range for edit preset, I said it wrong.

edit preset is available when you build workbench level 1

i dont understand tarkov chads saying budget kits but they are still costing 200-300k for the whole kit my budget runs cost <20k per kit

Personally I think that 7.62 MDR is much better as marksman's rifle, because it has an automatic fire, that's why MDR could be able to kill better inside the buildings. But I realize that MDR might cost more than rfb.

At the start of every wipe i always rush level 2 Peacekeeper for the M80. Alot of people dont realise you can get them without doing any quests for him, only the 11k Dollars and level 14. Flea at 15 and i just buy stock M1A's. Wrecks people for the 1st month of wipe.
favorite budget build has to be same stuff as this but with ak-101 with 56a1
you can get 63 recoil with just lvl 2 traders and 51 recoil if you have mechanic 3 with jmac.
it might be unsupressed, but for 120k you can get really nice recoil that 2-5 taps most people depending on armor.
Even if you want a supressor, you can get high 50 recoil with kac for only about 25k more
7.62×39 vepr (single fire AK) with forgrip, bastion, monstrum, 10 round mags with BP. Silencer if you're feeling frisky. Good enough ergo, high recoil but thats fine for sniping, BP murks anyone in 2-4 shots so no issues there
used a rfb today for2 raids, had some nice pmc kills, both 1v2, 1 tapped easily with m80 to the face

playing woods is tottaly disapointing unless you are doing the sthurman quest
anything under 200k is kind of budget anything under 150k is budget. 45 vector is 180k with a holo or 150k with a shit sight… and mp-153 with flechette is 100k modded.
i hate the rfb so much, its good for shooterborn, but i need automatic guns for close range, 45 vector for mid range, 545 ak or 556 or mdr. and for long range rfb or m4 or akm
I'd rather run a vpo-209 with AP.
Early wipe = Hunter Vepr
Mid wipe = RFB and M1A
Late wipe = SR-25 & SA-58
LOVE the weapon so far…. – im going to try about the armor set. its just sad really when a Scav one shots you with 7.62/39 ammo.. – This video really helped me understand the tiers of ammo verses equipment
scopes are too slow to aim make it even better AND more budget bu using iron sight
My favorite thing to do when low on money is buy a backpack and empty my container and go to customs and loot stashes and use whatever I get. Last time I did that I walked out with a black mdr and around 150k worth of other goodies.
I like to use the VSS. It's 35k on flee and you just need a scope for it which is around 50k total.

Also what I did is crafting slickers in the nutrition station and then doing the jäger barter for scav wests and scrap them for ripstop in the lavatory, you can sell the ripstop and if you need an mmac u can do the barter
If you have the flea and need dollars spent, buy SSDs and sell them to him you even make money atm
I quite like buying the completely stripped m4 from mechanic level 2 for 20k, then buying a adar off the flea for around 20k and just simply swapping the parts to the m4 and then slapping the cheap but amazing pilad sight ontop

The RFB is quite nice but please also consider the VSS.
It goes for around 35-45k on the flea (low durability tho)
20 rounders (Prapor lvl 3 sadly) for 8k (1 + 4 on your rig). Otherwise they go for around 15k but don't be sad as they almost 100% of the time come back on insurance.
SP-5 (lvl 2 Prapor) 236 roubles each (101 rounds)
OKP-7 dovetail for around 20k.
TOTAL:
first time: 45k+40k+23.9k+20k = 128.9k
(n+1)times: 45k+23.9k+20k= 88.9k
Why is this good you might ask?
– SP-5 can make extremely quick work of any lvl 4 armor (2.56 shots to kill) and 5.48 shots to kill with lvl 5.
– It comes with a supressor! A supressor can and will save your life for many many reasons. Also, getting a supressed RFB withouth any sights or grips is going to set you back a whopping 115k or more, and that supressor (and the RFB sometimes) is always looted because it's like 70k on the flea.
– It has full auto for emergencies (900 rpm) (use semi-auto if possible)
– Who's looting a 51 durability VSS anyway.

You can add the range finder as a laser actually, all you need is the Racknagel Era-Tac 30 or 34mm scope mount, and on top, you can add the range finder that works as a red laser too
