  9. When I pulled Jean back at like AR34 I was initially disappointed. There was this weird rhetoric that she was the worst 5* and I already had qiqi. I built her anyway because I wanted a 2nd healer on the abyss. Soon enough I realised how much better of a character she was to qiqi due to the crazy amount of utility she had. She has a high damage burst and skill, can cleanse every debuff in the game, can cc and importantly burst heal the entire team. Qiqi is amazing at keeping one character up all the time but her cooldowns are terrible, her elemental application is terrible and her damage ratios are pretty bad. From that point on I've just stopped using Qiqi, and Jean is now easily one of my favourite characters in the game.

    If that's not the truest statement ever, my first 5 star was Keqing and she is so boring and pointless compared to the other 5 stars. Oh how I wish mihoyo gave us a jean banner instead of Keqing. Actually she's not that useless, she can do Liyue expeditions 25% faster lol

  12. jean is great for a berserk healer

    can utilize vv for resistance shred so your carry can deal higher dmg (aside physical,geo,anemo (unless jean c4)
    can heal (a lot)
    can deal truck load of dmg on her E and ult (and a bit of cc)

    what else would they want from her >:(

  14. I use Prototype Rancor with 4 piece gladiator on her. She crit auto attacks around 4k, for a healer that is awesome. I use her as heal for ganyu or diluc so, that is more than fine.

  19. There is literally no use for jack of all trades characters in current meta. Shields are just going to be stronger next patch, she lost one of her abyss niche which is to dispell floor debuffs during ult duration. Nobody really needs healing now unless you're still playing genshin overworld for some reason. If her ult buffed an offensive stat like bennett, she would see more use. C2 is nice though. For now the best use I see for her is to yes, just build all out attack, get anemo resonance in pt and just use her as burst swap dps+heal. Kinda like mona but less damage and with healing and swirl. Fall damage shenanigans will keep her place in abyss though, if you wanna play her that way

  20. The most important thing is her CC with gale blade. You can literally launch your enemies and they'll take a shit ton of fall damage. Really nice in Spiral Abyss. And she doesn't need to be levelled up, because fall damage is based on the enemies level and HP, not yours. I did that today, and holy shit she carried me through the rough patches in certain rounds.

  22. Jean can fill many roles that she actually saves you space for your team. She can be a main dps, burst support, debuff (can also be the vv debuff) and a very good healer. Not to mention how awesome it is to actually use her because you can utilize fall damage and her yeet ability.

    But sure… She's underwhelming lmaoooo

I havent heard about anyone saying Jean is the worst 5 Star, I only hear that Keqing is the worst 5 Star becouse you cant build her without sacrifising something, I think it was something like that, that she even gets outperformed by all the 4/5 Star DPS that can use their whole kit, Im not really to informed on the details tho

  28. This is what I don't understand Jean's skill has a 6 second cooldown and generates multiple energy particles, meanwhile Qiqi's skill has a 30 second cooldown and generates zero particles. They both have bursts that cost 80 energy it just doesn't make sense.

  32. It feels so good to listen to you compliment her because I do indeed hear a lot of negative comments about her even though I think she’s an amazing character. I was very dubious at first because of everything I had heard but wanting her friendship banner I started playing with her and truly, she’s helped my team so much so I’m glad she’s getting some recognition ! 🙌🙌🙌

  34. I think qiqi is the worst five star a built jean offers better healing and it's instant offers swirl and up to 40 Percent resistance shred, crowd control and crazy burst DMG

  38. Why I was thinking Jean is not good…. BECAUSE I COULDN'T DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH HER. Like… HOW THE HECK SHOULD I BUILD HER???????? After getting her C1 I was like…. Well… Dps… I guess???
