Best Leveling Spec for Hunters in Shadowlands

Read more about Shadowlands ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.tv

It might be obvious to some of us that Beastmaster Hunter is known to be the best solo leveling spec in World of Warcraft, regardless of the expansion, but in this video I’d like to share my thoughts on the latest state of all 3 Hunter specs as we are about to head off to Shadowlands.

And yes, BM Hunter is still firmly at the top of my list, but hopefully I’ll be able to show you a bit more of the spec and the particulars of BM as well as Survival and Marksmanship, so that you can make a more educated decision when choosing a leveling spec for your own Hunter in WoW.

Please enjoy, like the video and share with your friends, if you have any! 😉

  1. I agree with you. BM is by far the best choice for levelling a hunter because its the safest and most efficient spec in comparison to MM or SV. I really like your content! Keep it up dude! Take care

  2. Awesome breakdown. I initially started leveling my hunter as MM. When I started doing all my balance of power stuff, transmog raids, scourge event I noticed I stuck with BM. Haven't switched back to MM since. BM is so easy and efficient!

  3. I switched from hunter to druid in legion. Level as guardian – pull the whole map and never die. Always get invited to m+ as resto. Bgs as balance. Arena as feral. GG. And I am a casual.

  4. I really appreciate your videos. Since I play DH, BM and occasionally Warlock, they're perfect for me. I play solo, always, and I don't enjoy doing dungeons and raids. This means a lot of WoW content on YouTube is irrelevant to me. I feel like this channel is perfectly catered to how I play.

  5. What lucky timing. I just finished leveling every other class, just Hunter left. There is a lot of world pvp going on in Gorgrond which is nice. I like going MM and just aimed shotting people lol

  6. Interesting content again, Gyro! I've played my hunter since WotLK, mostly as a solo casual player, and I would definitely recommend BM for levelling. I agree with most of what you say here (and in general!), but I think there's another important idea to consider with the first row of BM talents. Although it can be hard to get much extra value from the bonus to Kill Command from Killer Instincts when you're just grinding mobs, the real advantage of this talent over Animal Companion is the improved leech for your pet. With a solo pet, it's doing more damage, so it's healing itself more. Over time, this means a lot fewer presses of Mend Pet. Combine this with a real tanky pet family like Clefthoof, and the thing can take on elites without ever needing healing. On top of that, they have Blood of the Rhino which increases that extra leech even more! I've only got anecdotal evidence here, but I've tested the 2 talents for a long time, and Killer Instincts always keeps my pets alive a lot easier, making the levelling ride even smoother. I always smile at the other hunters with their 2 half-dead pets, when my big boi goes from mob to mob at full health! 🙂
