When playing the gun it always feels it underperforms for its cost. I dont know what it is, but the gun always underwhelmed me. Like the look, though. Needs some love.
I read somewhere that the ammo is bugged and doesn't penetrate arms. No clue if it's true.
I fumped a whole 60 round drum on 2 scav players today and it killed them but barely. The m4 and 416a5 is alot better choice
I’ve used this gun a couple of times and yea, the ap ammo is good on paper but I feel like it’s underperforming in game. I would say it’s decent against lvl 4 gear but starting at lvl 5 it struggles I just don’t know why.
What i dont understand is why you cant put the part from the mpx to attach m4 buffer tubes on the mcx. Sig designed it to be interchangable. It is literally a picatiny rail attachment. More stock options i think would make the mcx better. Also the stocks should fold on the mpx and mcx
For me is a really good gun IN CQB/CQC if you want to play with this gun go to maps like factory interchange reserve labs etc. Maps where you know that there is a lot of cqb/cqc.
Fully agree with video…. MCX with 44 recoil and 2 more pen on AP will be more valuable option. With this recoil and RPM I feel like its underperformin when we compare it to AKM
this caliber is simply not represented in EFT right now…………….5 shots on level 3 armor player to drop……bullshit
Reached the weaponmastery today.
My conclusion: stats are close to an short barrel AR-15/M4/416 in terms of recoil. But the recoil is less controllable because of unpredictable sidejumps. Ergo is worse tho missing stock options .
The Ammo: .300blk AP it’s the only viable option. But the feeled TTK is slightly higher. An real AP option like 995 is missing and it’s struggling against lvl 6 armor. The 300 AP is much slower traveling than m885a1/995 and has more an bullet drop equal to 762 BP.
Ammo is still bugged, blacked limbs don’t take damage.
Is it worth to play?
IMO :Yes, if you get bored of meta guns and looking for something different or running into an m855a1 shortage. The AP is 7$ a Shot at the same lvl like 5a1.
Its a nice short to midrange trader lvl 3 weapon. It’s not the best , not meta , not extremely modular atm but reliable.
Few more pen points for the ap would be good and a adapter for modding the stock to get the recoil down to 50 would be great. 👍🏻
