This data visual video shows the best-selling video games since 1979. This includes all of their ports, such as for the new system, such as Super Mario Bros. for Wii, Wii U, etc. It does not include free play video games, we will add them to a different video.
For the highest sales, We selected people who had 1 million sales units in the first few years, then 5 million sellers in the next few years, then 10 million, and so on. This was to avoid crowds on the charts and to avoid including sports. Don’t even look for a year.
These statistics come from searches on Wikipedia, articles and Google Books. Some statistics include estimates because the available data is omitted year.
