as a hall of fame disc priest their healing is aimed for large burst of aoe. holy pala is more suited for single target, so in raids they should be able to heal more than in 5 mans or arenas. if you dont heal at a high level i dont think you should comment on nerfing something you've proven you don't know much about. you nerf disc bc they're too good in raid? what about every single other form of content in the game? the most difficult spec to master would suck in every aspect of the game.
The fact that Shadow Priest is AGAIN at the top just shows that Blizz has zero priority to fixing that little oversight. Nerf the hell out of every other spec, but shadow once again goes untouched
I love how the worst, most boring version of Hunter is the one who's succeeding the best right now. People get annoyed at how Demon Hunters had to press like 4 buttons to deal damage, but imagine just spamming cooldowns as frequently as possible without any timing or thought except how soon it comes off cooldown. At least the other hunter specs are doing decent, so it's not terrible. I'm sorry Feral Druids. The Windwalkers feel your pain as well.

Thinking that they might me placing more focus on DOTS and high damage tick rate for this patch?
Especially since Destro locks are so low in relation to Affliction when they were op in bfa
So in short: If you're playing a Druid you'd better change specs to Balance because you're going to get shafted otherwise, terrible at damage and healing in comparison to other specs.
If you're going healer just roll Discipline priest because top damage for healers and 3rd most healing only lagging behind by 10%.
I wish that we could see this DPS chart but with the Heart of Essence and Azerite traits disabled. To show raw DPS of the class itself. The HoE/Azerite should have been disabled just like corruption was. They are abilities that won't be in the later part of the game so it would give a better idea of how class dynamics are meant to be for later expansion. Probably would change the whole look of what this chart would look like. Some of those abilities and such can add 1,000+ to dps charts from 1,000 to 2,300 additional dps on encounters.

None of this is ever going to get balanced but we should all already know that period these character balances are set up for when we hit shadowlands which of course has not happened yet. Tuning for the pre-patch would be an enormous waste of time for blizzard given everything in shadowlands they are trying to fix or correct.
Okay… these totals are only saying what classes are performing the best on average. That doesn’t always mean you can’t top a chart on one of the lower DPS ranked spec.
It just means that some specs aren’t performing as well in general.
I still say, okay play what you want to play
Any real Feral Main would know the first tier you ALWAYS play Moonkin. Tier 2 + 3 Feral can shred it up! Also, it's now bottom 5, not bottom, thanks to a cool 5% damage buff.

Of the top twelve only two are melee specs and one of those is survival hunter. I think it’s clear what playstyle Blizz prefers right now.

disc priest has been terrible for so long let them have some shine for once!
BM performance right now is tied to BFA rework of class scaling. When blizz were introducing essences and corruption, some of them were not working and intended to work and proc with a pet. Therefore, to compensate, scaling was made through the roof. And right now, when corruptions are disabled, general scaling formulas remain and are untouched, leading to more power that remains with the class. SP performance is just tied to rework of its aoe mechanics probably, though I have little experience to asess accurately.
