This is the best guide I could ever ask for. I don't feel the need to pull for 5 star weapons when there are other good options. However, I am really curious of the Staff of Homa because I believe that it will be one of his best weapons for support.

For everyone that keeps asking about Favonius for Support – it’s worse than Black Tassel, except you get the energy recharge substat. Would not recommend, especially if you’re running double Geo because Zhong ult is only 40 energy.

this really is the most helpfull guide to decide wich set to go for my main dps Zhong .. I ran a 4 piece Glad but I may farm for the 4 Piece bolide for a better shield and just a tiny little bit less damage 😀 really thx for this good guide

hmm my results were very different, i generally use lvl 8 talents because i think 5 star units deserve at least that much. And i also add a small amount of crit substats like 10 crit 20 crit damage which is pretty achievable. I think HP% requires high character level which skews results and ATK% requires high talent level and weapon base attack. Zhongli is kinda weird in the sense that his artifacts differ depending on his level and talents.
3:40 should have included 2pc Glad + 2pc Petra in the mix too
At what talent levels did you do the comparison? Because that matters a lot.

How is your math working? Theres no way black tassel is that close to the royal spear. I calculated using talent lvl 8 ult, both weapons lvl 90, zhongli lvl 90 and the royal spear does 1000 or 15% more damage ignoring crit. Also the royal spear would do significantly more damage with atk% artifact stats than hp%.
i have zhongli c2 used as support. which i can summon a lot of stella since i dont need to hold e for shield. and i can only usd burst 2 times in 1 min 30 secs using jade spear. what do u want in his support position? 20% more dmg or more burst uptime. skyward lance and favonious lance should be the top tier as a support dps position, not damage spear like jade or.vortex since his energy generation is shit

With what artifacts did u usefor the jade spear?
Building a unit for jade spear is hard since it forces you to swap out your circlet piece for crit damage with crit rate substat.
This should even beat crescent pike with 4 piece glad
