They confirmed that Xbox Series X tools are totally new and devs need time to get used to them and adjust their game engines to take advantage of it. It will take time but we are already seeing better results in many games. But there is still long way to go and room for improvement.

It is harder to optimize tools for 2 consoles when the tools they use are still early. Once the engine is designed to best optimize for both it will be easier down the road. For bigger companies they can invest in that way more.
