Biomutant: What You Need To Know Before You Play

I’ve been keeping my eye on Biomutant since it was announced in 2017. The game seems to pack a lot of punch and I’ve loved what we’ve seen so far. Today I go over everything you need to know about the game! Thanks to Skyforge for sponsoring this video: https://wehy.pe/t/304/wehypeit check it out here!

Biomutant is an upcoming Post-apocalyptic kung fu open world Action RPG with a big emphasis on offering loads of freedom and customization. The game is full of various Mutant Powers, Bionics and Weapons you can combine to fit whatever your preferred playstyle is. Whether you want to be a Magic slinging psi-freak, a commando jumping straight into the action, or roaming around as a sneaky assassin. You’ll be able to mix and match these various elements, to make whatever sort of character you like. More interestingly to me though, is the games rather unique look and style, (especially if you like playing as furry animals). Developer said they took inspiration for the game from things sources like: kung fu panda, ratchet & clank, modern open world games, and a combat system that’s heavily inspired by the DMC & Arkham game series. Early footage showed lots of promise. Caught my eye all the way back in 2017.

  2. Before CP2077:
PR department: ok guys, prepare to be amazed; our game has hundreds of skills, super-flexible story that adapts to your choices, large crowds and 100 square miles world, incredible AI and hyper-realistic physics, groundbreaking features never seen before in a game, ecc, ecc.
    After CP2077:
PR department: well, we polished most of the bugs and our employees dont crunch…soooo…

  3. The thing that makes this so immediately appealing is that it mixes the familiarity of an open world game with the weird/uniqueness of the theme of this world. It's in that forever popular genre but is such a different beast when compared to other open world games, you can't help but be intrigued. Really makes you interested in seeing what it all has to offer.

  4. This game has been on my radar since it's reveal back in 2017 and I've been following it quite causally ever since. I'm glad the development team has finally gotten to a point where they can reveal a release date. I hope it lives up, both critically and commercially. This could be a classic.
