"Everyone is moving to the middle grey area. We're dealing with Pirates!!" I absolutely love the character writing on this show. Not one person is 100% 'evil' or 'the good side'. Everyone has their own motivations and flaws. 👌💗
This is a series second only to Breaking Bad only because that masterpiece story set the bar. This masterpiece makes one realize that all human traits have a positive and negative connotation,greed-ambition,disloyalty-flexability,stubbornness- certainty, weakness- mercy. There is only one conclusion…..how one applies a trait defines ones good or evil intent.

Dont know if anyone has told youll but captain vane, Ann bonny, and jack rackham ( aka calico Jack) and captain hornigold ( yes that was his real name) wrre all actual pirates in real life and nasssu was a real place
Also i believe Jack sparrow is based on jack rackam ( calico jack)
Loved watching Nikki get all vicious when the slaver got killed, I had the same reaction! A great thing to note about this show is that whatever happens, they’ll generally show you onscreen. The visual language is so rich and it carries through all four seasons.
