Is there any mosquito repellent? Even in the game the bugs bother me
You can use any of the tall spire stones in the Plains as a foundation , just start shoving logs into it and build your stairs up as you go , my plains base is a good 200 feet off the ground, full covered stairs , 2 floors and full service room below that. Deathsquitos dont fly that high , so its been pretty chill so far.
You will need iron for last armour made of iron ofc and lien they are cheper than silver in amount you have to give fore pice or upgrade. Hope they gona add steel or damascus steel any new materials would be nice just like harvesting or taming

I think the chests in the hall are placed backwards. Or am I seeing things?
They need armor and weapon racks so you can display all your armor and weapons.
Tip if u want cores, when u see fire that spawns them
Dig around the fire like 2 blocks all 4 side (middle too)

You can tame a Lox in a similar fashion to Boars or Wolves. Drop Barley, Cloudberries or Flax for the Lox to eat to begin the taming process. Once you have successfully tamed a Lox, you can feed it when it has the 'hungry' status. and think u may need meat instead of bones
I cleaned few small islands managed to gather nearly everything, missing last totem x.x New armor looks dope. I'm pretty sure people figured this out already but here is an useful tip fighting against goblins: Poison arrows. Honestly reminded me of Metal Gear Solid 5, sneaking and sniping everything. You shoot one arrow and till goblin reaches you it dies, find high place and just snipe whole village 😀 For shamans and berserker's use frost arrows. I'm so happy i spent loads of time in swamps farming ooze. I did aswell noticed that goblins don't respawn in villages, I was sure I came back after several days, maybe more time is needed, don't know. PS. Lox cape is better than Linen cape.
Hardcore death= delete play through when?
Just go to a Surtling Spawner and mine around the fire geyser so that it's surrounded by water. The surtling will spawn on water and instantly die. You can occasionally go pick up cores and coals from there.

you should use iron-wood and stone as backbone for costruction
obsidian arrows will do the trick in the plains

another tip, when you're building those walls, you can perfectly make them fully square, when you hit the ground with the pickaxe, it leaves a perfect square, thats your grid (makes thing easier to work with). Hope it help
If you kill the shamans in the villages on the plains they won’t repopulate. Think about keeping one alive so you can farm for the black iron for armour and weapons
You didn't think anyone would catch it, but I saw it! You had black metal in your inventory back at your main base 21:42, and had that little edit when you ran back to take the portal. Can't fool me 😛

Keep 1 box with materials for a workbench and stone cutter table and put them out as you need them and break them down and put them back in the box when you are done. The more tables you have out the more your base will get attacked.

If your gunna get stuff from your friends why not just go to your good buddy Mr. spawn items ?
If you want to improve any of your weapon skills, just go attack a rock where you can improve your skills without taking damage

Just had to rework my whole base, flatening, stone paths, bigger farm, took out a huge house to build a better workshop area… 5 hours later and it is perfect now. what a pain, but so good.
Instead of stone walls you can just raise ground to form a indestructable rock wall, just do that trick to raise ground, it will cost less stone than stone walls.

The black metal sword is worth it if your skill is decent. It chops up fulings pretty nicely. You can grind sword skill by kacking at a log or a rock. I still advise to not bother with porcupine. Its crap compared to frostner. Anything immune to piercing laughs it off (like the plains boss 😉 ). Black metal is a little pointless after a certain point. You just need enough to make all your weapons max level. After that, its pretty pointless. Iron seems to be ever important though, which is annoying.

Fuling villages don't respawn. One of my bases is a village I dug a mote around after I killed the occupants. The random spawns dotted around the landscape respawn, but the villages don't.
Barely and flax can only be grown in the plains but carrots and turnips can too. If you want all your farming in one place that would be the way to do it! Also, there is one more set of armor that is higher tier called padded armor and I think you need black metal and flax for it.

Use wood arrows they cost just wood and can do dammage and one shoot many oponents depend on bow and your bow skill.
It was Zelda, if you killed a creature with fire the meat would come off cooked. If you killed it with Ice, it would be frozen
