Publishers ruin gaming studios with their unrealistic demands, and you can't even say Indies aren't in the same boat because investors pretty much do the same. I have to admit that gaming as a genre is dying pretty quickly. I don't even play new games anymore (I don't consider the MCC on steam a new game). I just play old shit over and over again or old games I missed. They're cheap, but also have enough content and customer feedback to warrant a purcahse.
I really want to thank the games industry for all those sleazy monetization strategies. They helped me overcome my gaming addiction.

Merging studios is not what Microsoft would want, they are seeking out new developers to make has many games has they can, a game that can make 10 million is worth same has a game that can make 1 billion. In the end they both are going to game pass and both will bring people in, the more the better is the logic now, they need games not a game.

I can’t see Microsoft ending anything to push a bigger title. Gamepass is their focus and for that to work it needs quality and quantity. They would much rather have new obsidian ip to sell subs waiting on es 6.

Personally, I will not touch the Harry Potter game. I don't want to give any quantity of money to a TERF author even if is indirectly.
Worse part is, they will add the option to make a non-binary character, trying to atract the very same people the author hates to take their money.
Personally, I prefer to wait for the next project of the author of Stardew Valley (it seems that it will be a magic school in the same world) and play that kind of game without any ties with J.K.

Activision Blizzard isn't part of the "corrupt" industry. This is just part of capitalism. This is how capitalism works, calling it corruption is averting one's eyes from reality. If you don't like how things are, keep in mind that this is how most companies work in this system, and those that don't follow those tactics, don't survive long anyway.

I'm not loyal to any console but I gotta admit I got like +100 games on my library on my ps account. That's why I wouldnt buy an xbox bc how tf am I gonna get those games without any cost?
There is zero identification of Xbox wanting to bring Game Pass to PlayStation store. And then adding the caveat that "I don't think Sony will go for…"' as reason for why it likely won't go down is incredulous. The reason Game Pass works is because it is a deal between Xbox and Devs on their games on their system. To think that then you could transfer said service to another platform and it could work while devs also have deals with say Sony on purchases and DLC and such is just ridiculous. It would hurt Sony as well Microsoft in the profit sharing. Eating away at both ends. I have yet to hear a single marketing plan where having Game Pass on PlayStation or Nintendo for that matter would work.
And the idea that exclusivity can be done by PlayStation and they can make it work but can't be done by Microsoft that could literally buy Sony but some how exclusivity would hurt them financially… how??? It's like people aren't thinking this through at all. "Microsoft can't make exclusivity work with Bethesda games." But … "PlayStation exclusivity is a given and they can't afford not to remain exclusive."… it is all a joke.
If bethesda designs games you don't like and obsidian designs games you do like then WHY DONT YOU JUST SUPPORT THEM BY BUYING THIER GAMES AND NOT BETHESDA!?!?

I'm halfway on the Obsidian IP issue. I feel they should keep working on their own IPs, but I also feel they should be given primary control of Fallout, and leave elder scrolls and starfield to Bethesda.

The Ps4 to Ps5 save migration is a Sony Problem and not a game Problem. With Marvel Spider-Man and Miles Morales you needed to upload your save from ps4 version and Download it on the ps5 Version. XBox Save Migration is better. Marvel's Avengers did many things wrong but that is not one of them.
