  1. 17:15 sorry asmon but thats Just wrong, you can clear at least heroic raids with a random group but the rewards for heroic raids are WAY WAY better than those for PvP. To get the Same itemlevel you have to be at least a 2000+ rated Player which in my eyes is way harder than a mythic raid where you just have to get 10 people together who understand the mechanics of a raidboss. Also you had to spend almost 5x the time to get gear through pvping while in pve Theres a possibilty to drop Something from every Boss and you can trade dropped items

  2. I hate the PvErs/"self proclaimed casuals" flaming this change on the US forums. If you want PvP rewards then do RATED PvP. Don't expect to be spoonfed good gear through random bgs where you just go AFK when you lose. Finally an incentive to do RBGs and have people use their brains and get on voice. I feel like a large chunk of the playerbase that was lost was the PvP side. PvP was a much larger community back in the day. With changes like this PvP could become a major attraction to returning players.

  4. PvP still suck because if you aren't 2400+ rating, you won't get BIS and so everybody that is below that rank would go mythic+ and mythic raid. Unless they can upgrade gear TO BIS from 1400 rated gear by spamming pvp (at least get rated). Average players that like pvp but aren't good to play pvp are the whole fucking pvp community. Either they try hard to climb or they stop and play M+.

Being good should ONLY save you time from the grind, but every player should be able to achieve BIS. You are not fighting PVE, you are fighting players and someone WILL ALWAYS be the loser, unless losing means wasting time griding honor and populating pvp, pvp would not be as rewarding as M+ and Mythic Raid.

  5. TLDR. Forces you to engage in a failed esport more than ever while Blizzard influencers and people involved in a failed esport (Asmon has a esports org btw) push that you "won". Arena was bad, it's always been bad. It revolves around focus macros that aren't part of the rest of the game. It revolves around endless rerolls. It forces 1 of every 3 friends to play a healer they don't want to play. Because of this is will never succeed yet the game is catered around it and mythic raiding where you are forced to play with incels you would never have a beer with.

Blizzard cares about failed Esports. Period. This is simply Bobby Kotick's vision. Influencers telling me I won when I have to beg some clown to heal to get gear or play a boring healer myself is laughable. Stacking half the RBG with healers that become more broken outside of 3 v3 endless CC is also neither fun gameplay or entertaining.

People just wanted to play BG's, get some PvP gear and remain somewhat viable like they were in the past. That is the massive group that LEFT WOW. Not the autistic arena players and ABN groups selling carries. here was a slight upgrade past that in the past for rated but it wasn't like the people not doing arena non stop had no chance. I watched the majoritiy of people in my guild AFK every week in WOTLK in 5's and get gear, just so they could engage in some random pvp and have fun . Now there is endless upgrades. None of this is fun, those people didn't win and those people will leave Shadowlands within a month after they realized the influencers and esports orgs never had their best interest at heart and neither did Blizzard.

  6. Oh shit, poor poor raid loggers.
God I hate raid loggers. You can join a guild on a weekend, see like 20 people online, and then Monday there's 3 people online including you, all the way to Wednesday where there is a scheduled raid and 20 people magically appear online, and Thursday there is no one online once again.
I quit more raid logging guilds than I can remember.

  8. asmongold i'm just wondering would you still be upset about WF/TF if there was a hard cap on it like you can only TF upto 1 IL below the next lvl of content? and on top of that there is a system in place that makes you upgrade your gear upto said IL if you don't have the RNG luck to get WF/TF? just wondering
