Friday Night Funkin’ is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron “ninjamuffin99” Taylor, David “PhantomArcade” Brown, Isaac “Kawai Sprite” Garcia, and evilsk8r.

Friday Night Funkin’: Vs. Sonic.EXE is a mod owned and directed by MarStarBro, Comgaming_Nz, and Saster. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE creepypasta , but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky.MPEG, Sonic R, and Sonic the Comic.

Sonic.EXE is the central antagonist of the mod, and the main antagonist of his titular creepypasta. Sonic.exe, also known as Xenophanes is a demon that is a super fan of Sonic that became a form like him to try and be him. He comes from the creepypasta and videogame Sonic.exe and goes and kills Sonic’s friends one by one leading to him killing the one playing the game. He is very popular in various other forms of media and as of 2021 has had a resurgence thanks to friday night funkin.

  23. Yo, you could totally do a Shinto cover as well and use tails doll and bf there! Hell, you could do the entirety of Hypno's Lullaby but with sonic.exe characters! A good title for the whole thing would be Hypno's Lullaby: Executed. Hypno songs could be Sonic.exe, Safety Lullaby/New Game – is Exe in a hidden/normal state, posing as sonic, sometimes showing a red eye or a purple tongue, Left Unchecked/Fooled You could be him in his You Can't Run form, and Lost Cause/Last Life would be his Triple Trouble form.

    For FrostBite/Future Feast, It could be Red Egg and Prey Sonic , and instead of Pika/fire-pokemon-i-don't-know it could be Furnace/Tails. I'm not sure who would go where, but they would be paired like Sonic/Tails and Egg/Furnace. For the heat up mechanic, Furnace would get a little red, heating up the doctor until falling into the snow because he used all his heat for Egg. For Tails, he would just have some heat up invention and it would break after too many uses, and tails would go off screen to fix it. Then for Monochrome/InFUNite, the Prey Sonic from FrostBite would be turned into Majin Sonic. The reason he's like this is because he died of hypothermia up on the mountain, went to heaven, found out it's where all the Majin live, and is now reincarnated as Majin. (Yeah Yeah, Lore Snore) Then when Silver/Majin rips his head off, he would instead say, "The fun has only just begun!" and then the background is lit up as we see "Endless Land" elements all around us. Idk if Shinto Silver dude is the same as Monochrome Silver but I'll get to him in a bit.

    Next is Insomnia/Stringed. I was thinking we could take Roundabout Sonic, but make the one controlling sonic replace the no mouth dude and make the Sonic be the Sleeping Dino thing. After that is MissingNo/AssetMissing, and for Missingno, why not Fatal Error? For Brimstone/Replaced, Fatal would come back, make Mangled GF Mobius-ifyed, Muk be whichever Faker copy people hate the most, make Gengar the other one and make white dude ether of the faker copys!

    Purin could be Sunky, Pico is Mobius-Ifyed, and make the backround look like someone snapped out of Milk and Cereal Land and saw it's abandoned, true colors.
    For Amusia/Insanity, it may be a stretch, but consider….Secret History's Tails as Pink thing and Secret History's Sonic as Pony…..I'll give you time to consider.

    Now, for Bygone Purpose/Lost Existence, whoever can find some Creepy Pasta of Shadow and Maria, that's where it would go. But if not, Unaltered Sonic and Amy. Sonic is in his base .exe form in the later half of the song and for Amy, she could nothing but lines of code making the shape of the pink lover. She tries and tries to bring back the sonic she once new, but leaves once she knows the blue blur is gone forever…

    WOW, THAT WAS DEPESSING! Next is Dissention/Drowned and for this one, how about we take something from another mod entirely and add some backstory to it. Sonic Drowned could be where his own mind plunges himself into Hydrocity zone, and later Mind Sonic Regrets his actions enormously.
    And we have Isotope/ZFight. Idk the name of the polygonal sonic with the black mouth area, but that'll be his song. Idk about his voiceline.

    Death Toll…….F it, reuse Red Egg head and Furnace.
    F-ing hell, how many are left…(Checks playlist) Oh, just one more. And it's pasta night…just switch the positions of Hypno and Lord and we're good!
