  3. If you want to use Electro-priests but can’t have boats I’d recommend using Lucius teleport strat. Corpuscarii perform better since they can shoot even if you don’t get the charge off.

  4. Great battle report, just point out that the manipulus's "blessed bionics" gives 5++ and heals 1d3 wounds to itself at the beguining of the players turn. It also have 1d6 additional attacks with its mechadendrites. Thank you for the battle report.

  5. no, the UM doctrine doesn't benefit aggressors, they don't shoot twice anymore since the new codex. They are much more tame now, I take them in 1000 pts people don't complain. But against those priests would've probably been too brutal

  6. Priests without boats or lucious strat just perish before they have a chance to move. Probably should've hid them amd screened with default vanguards until you can tie up the big shooty squads with the sulphurhounds in melee.

  7. nice battle reports guys but some pretty basic mistakes in the beginning. Josh confirms that the sulfurhounds are still only toughness 3 but the str 4 boltguns still have the three removed from the wound pool? wat? And if the Priests are ld 8 and lost 8 a one doesn't pass does it? I'm less certain about the second one just because of the old insane bravery rule.

  8. Apologies if this has been pointed out already; in the 9th ed codex they changed how the Intercessor's grenade launcher works. It is now just an assault weapon that can fire either krak or frag grenades, not a range boost on normal grenades. This means, unless I am extremely mistaken, that the model with the grenade launcher can fire it as a well as his bolt rifle in the same shooting phase.

  9. So when admech did a charge around the 32:00 mark they were 9 inches away with +1 to charge an they didn't do any type of "deep strike" im sure of. Then you only need a 7 not an 8 since engagement range is 1 inch but in order to attack u need to pile into within half an inch.

Seems like a common misconception a charge has to end within an inch.
    I
When you deep strike your slightly farther the 9 inches witch is why u need a 9 inch charge flying down
