  1. I think it should be Empire vs Beastmen for DLC, I think a new Dark Elf should be FLC. I think CA has more content to draw from in Empire as compared to DElves anyway. Although I’d still like to see Neferata added into game II

  2. Good video, I still feel that both Taurox and Ghrorros are an absolute necessity for the Beastmen if we're to be satisfied with their rework after all this time with the faction being unusable in singleplayer for so long. For that reason, I'd prefer to see the FLC lord being a Beastman too, with fingers crossed that Boris is added a little while later just as some extra content in the buildup to WH3. Only sticking point is that the Beastmen already have 3 lords, so would they really give a DLC faction a 5th?

  3. Nah, he's already in the game. They should just make him available a LL. I'd rather get Ar-Ulric Emil Valgeir as LL, just like Volkmar the Grim, as opposed to a legendary hero. Just have Boris be another LL in the same start position, like Karl Franz and Volkmar the Grim. Making Boris any part of a new content release is just going to anger people.

  4. I agree a lot, but disagree a little bit. I disagree about the thing that if Beastmen had 5 LL and WE had 4, it would somehow violate some rules and make no sense. Like diverent factions have diferent amount of LL. Some have 4 some 6, some less than that.
Allso I think that we have to many interesting beastman, to give Boris a spot instead of them. Like I find at least 4 LL/LH (because we know they mix them for gameplay reasons, and this is fine) that would be great to see. Ghoros, 4horn, moonclaw and Taurox. And we will get max 3 of them- DLC LL, FLC LL, DLC LH. So we cannot afford to lose a slot for Boris here. Taurox and Ghoros are fan favourites, and offer unique gameplay-probably rhey are LL and LH in the dlc.
And 4h can be the ideal FLC LL with many reskined unique units like Drycha.
So no place for Boris in that

  5. To be perfectly honest, I would rather Middenland make its way in as a paid DLC lord rather than an FLC. Middenland had it's own army book on the tabletop, and I don't see CA giving them all of their unique and interesting missing units for free. Teutogen guard, knights of the white wolf, wolf kin, priest of Ulric, etc… would all likely need a DLC to do them any justice. Would love an Ulric themed DLC!

  6. Nah. Beastmen DLC will be way more mandatory than the Wood Elf one so not including an additional legendary lord for the Beastmen specifically makes it pretty hard to justify the price on the original DLC for game 2 and game 3 owners going forward. Besides I'm guessing the plans for Boris relate to game 3 based on how cryptic CA is being and how well an Ulfric expansion would line up with a WoC, Norsca, or DoC match up.

  7. We need Empire pantheon with lords inspired by each deity granting unique abilities. They could treat it almost like the Bloodlines feature. Imagine how unique a Ulric inspired lord would look compared to Sigmar, Ranald, Morr, etc. It should come with unique units too.

  8. So you contradicted your own thoughts of introducing another WH1 race into the Vortex Map.

Second drycha is unique bc she uses unique army… midland isn’t unique enough

  9. Personally I can forsee within the next DLCs:
    – Beastmen rework + new Lords, they just need anything and everything they can get
    – Dwarf DLC (Thorek since he's closer to TW3's area?) since they are direly in need of it. Their mechanics are massively outdated and simplistic, and their army is one dimensional.
    – Vampire DLC (Neferata/Red Duke seems likely, they just added Neferata's area after all, and have wanted the Duke for a while)
    – Boris (They mentioned they wanted him before but not sure what else would come with unless they go full Ulric, maybe Valten as an Empire horde travelling with his followers?)
TW2s races are all complete. HE, DE, LM, Skaven need nothing more added at this stage. They have everything they need. So the above seem way more likely to me. I feel Norsca is waiting for TW3 for the integration with "new Chaos" since they're up there anyway and their design is reliant upon whatever Chaos is.

  10. if he doesn't get priests of Ulric to replace the sigmrates it's not worth it.
I mean if he has wolf-kin as a reskin of Flagellants, and Warrior Priest of Ulric
as a reskin of the Warrior Priest of Sigmar…I'm down.
brotherhood of the wolf could live without,
don't wanna have Boris Todbringer half assed into the game.
