  1. do console players expect 1080p solid 30fps? its not gonna happen on the ancient base console hardware.. especially with the lack of SSD and a half-decent processor. This games content is a beast and the world is very intensive even for high-end PC's. might be okay if you are just hoping for no crashes, bug fixes, stable 30 with dynamic resolution etc. Old consoles are weak and the graphic fidelity is very unlikely to get better.

  2. sorry but the statement is crocodile tears. they willingly put a game out that needed more time and then tried covering up by not allowing reviewers show game play footage till a day before release. inexcusable. they've had 8 years and 3 delays and for it to be like this is unaccceptable.

  4. They way I see it “mismanagement”. God knows how many investors bets on them. I already decided to trade my cyberpunk 2077. Refund or not the damage is done but I am pretty sure CD project will pay the price someday. Because they knew that the console version was not ready but they didn’t care. So good luck CD project. Peace out.

  5. I do think the pandemic has been more of a problem than is being mentioned anywhere. I'm on pc and agree this game shouldn't of been released yet although running quite well without ray tracing on high settings and 1080p

  6. I saw a lot of people on Reddit posting about how the developers felt safer releasing the game and it's not ready state due to all the death threats to them and their families for the multiple delays. It was getting dangerous and perhaps those people are right. I still don't believe that excuses them for withholding review copies of the console versions until release day. No excuse for that

  7. I'm playing on Xbox One X on a free sync display, my main issue is I've had 9 crashes over my 18 hours play so far. Also the odd 5-second pause maybe one every 2 hours.
Let's be clear though cd project read flat out deceived people by restricting any chance for people to make an informed purchase to get their money.

  8. I feel like a lot of reviewers lack to understand the detail and how great the game looks. The criticism to comparing it to RDR2 is kinda not valid. Cyberpunk has so much detail and cities with depth to it is more difficult than a wild west with less clutter to its environment. Also the team compared to Rockstar when they have made way more games and have more experience. Cyberpunk is a next gen type of game. Shouldn't have catered to last gen when developers have openly stated how limited the last gen hardware is. Minor bugs like T posing and mouths slow to start moving in dialog are not as big as some are trying to make it out to be. Hacks are fun and unique. Driving is incredible. Character detail is very good. Story so far is good. Side missions like racing and cyberspychos are different and unique each time. 7 years and investors most likely pushed the game out and also the way gamers cried when it got delayed it was a lose lose. Yet I see the potential after some patches of this being a top tier game. The patch on pc already improved my experience a ton more.

  9. They willingly withheld information that would impact many many consumers' decisions to purchase the game. I don't see any way of construing this as anything other than deliberately misleading and robbing people who purchased on last gen.

  10. It started well. Playing on PC. Then I get out of my apartment and punch one NPC. ALL the NPCs around start crouching in fear or just run away. Immersion broken. 8 years to do this??? Has no one playing this game flagged this and said : hello we need to implement proper AI. As in minimum AI to at least feel realistic like maybe an NPC can punch back? Or another come and help? This is 2020! And I forked 60euros for this.

  11. For as long as CDPR was saying that CP2077 was going to be released on what are now the last gen consoles, it seems pretty clear that the game was developed PC almost exclusively. The console versions really do look like last minute ports. It is possible for a world this large to work on the xbox one and PS4 even if the quality of the graphics and textures are not quite as good as a next gen console or high end PC. Red Dead Redemption 2 keeps being mentioned but it is a great example of a game scaling well to high end hardware but also being perfectly playable and looks pretty good on the last gen consoles.

  12. Fully agree with Jason. I've just started playing the new Avengers update after I gave up on the PS4 version of Cyberpunk. It feels kind of sad as I was originally laughing at Avengers releasing its first DLC a day before Cyberpunk came out.
