Great, because I love it when teams stumble into the playoffs with half their roster on IR. All those stupid rule changes in the past supposedly in the name of player safety and now this? What a terrible idea. All this means is more injuries and records broken simply due to their being more games rather than player skill.

NFL- Says they stand for players safety yet adds another game. Are they trying to make the 49ers lose everyone to injuries this year? I mean I would've much rather had a 17 game season with 2 byes for every team if they were to add a game.

I think they are just trying to make up for decreasing revenue. The NFL is irrelevant now. Many friends and I were once season ticket holders (that's about as big a fan as you can be) and now we just don't care. Nobody I know can even stand to watch it on T.V. anymore. They are pushing a liberal agenda, as are all their advertisers. I just want to watch a game.
For the first time since this taking a knee nonsense started I was going to end my boycott and watch the Super Bowl last season. The T.V. was on, I had snacks and beer, then before the game even started an announcer told me to be more socially aware. I immediately turned it off.
Why not do Japan they actually have a pretty good American football coach out there

17 games is too many. In fact 16 games is kinda too many.

Yeah those international games are a throw away. But the most egregious thing about this news is finding out that the Packers have somehow avoided playing any international games so far. Yet we regularly saw the Raiders, bears, patriots or even chargers play these games for YEARS.
