It can't be argus because this is the scene displaying the breaking of the wheel of death. Now remember the wheel or machine which ever broke sometime before Argus died and returned to the plane of order. So the idea being argus can't happen unless: he sent a bolt of death magic or whatever his energy is at her from some sort of portal or teleportation device.
There was something in the dream the little void flower thing. I don't really think that was a clear indicator of the prison for Nzoth, I think it was the indicator that there was a thing or whatever in the dream trying to get to the shadowlands. Again the breaking of the machine of death is the actual key. We know when it broke in legion so go from there, I don't remember exactly when it broke in legion but the timeline should give a clue to who's sole it is.
I think its ysera's nightmare that hit the arbiter
could it be kil'jaeden? Wasn't he mortal?
The timeline doesn't add up for either candidate . Windrunner went to the maw after her death at icecrown and after that is when she began sowing the seeds of a large scale war with the alliance even going so far as to secure her holding in the former lordaeron territories. My guess is that the dread lords had planned from the begining that the legion would fail in the third war and planned around this. That's why they delivered the helm of domination to bind ner'zthul's soul to the helm and why they were so adamant that the lich king must die, despite him being an agent of the Maw. The original lich King was an altered soul directly empowered and tied to the jailor. My guess is that they made nerz'thul's soul into a two part weapon, one that would increase the jailor's power on azeroth and once it served it's purpose break the machine of death allowing the jailor to directly channel all souls into the Maw.
One of the last souls to enter the afterlife where it was supposed to was Ursoc. We killed Ursoc in Emerald Nightmare. And VERY shortly after Ursoc we killed Xavius. Ky money is it's Xavius.
I think it is Argus. I think that the impact of a Titan soul most definatly would cause significant damage to The Arbiter, i am not so sure Ysera would have the same impact. Remember that we see Ursoc go through a similar fate in Legion and still ending up in Ardenweald for his long slumber without major incidents. Argus was broken beyond measure, tortured for millenia, abtly named the "Titan of Death" and most importantly a world soul. Helya could have provided the link (perhaps through the maw of souls) as she is of Titan origin, and we never found out what the pact she made with Sylvanas was all about, but we do know that there was a rift open between the two worlds during that period. Also Sylvanas would have already been in league with The Jailer at that point and could very well have been sent to Helheim by him.
Hmm, don’t know real timeline and if this was possible. But during quest when we “cleanse” Sargeras sword in Silithus. Our Artifact weapons lose power and then Eye in Sargeras sword shuts down. Can it be that it was actually our Artifact weapons powering that “Red beam” that hit Arbiter? 🤷♂️
One thing is sure, it happened not too long after Ursoc died. And in the Ardenweald short they are talking about seasons after seasons. But how long is a season in Ardenweald? And is time flowing in the same rate in Shadowlands as in Azeroth? I think it happened around a time after Vol'jin died. What about when G'huun was killed? he was some sort of old god experiment.
My Prediction:
It is likely that Forsworn Kyrians (Still blue and has white wings) helped bring Xavius into the Shadowlands and helped transform Xavius' soul & anima into a bomb that cannot kill the Arbiter but put her into a deep slumber. If that red soul was indeed Xavius, he is either now totally dead or is still alive as a virus that keeps the Arbiter in her slumber. I also believe the Jailer is not powerful as the Arbiter herself if they fight each other. The cinematic might prove that Xavius was the Mawsworn's agent within the Emerald Nightmare. I also believe the Jailer's main objective is to reach Oribos and destroy the Arbiter himself since he is the only being that knows how to kill the Arbiter. Killing the Arbiter might cause the Arbiter's power to be transferred to the Jailer in which he will have complete control over both the Shadowlands and the Veil. With that power, the Jailer will use the Shadowlands as his base of operations and the veil as a gateway to different worlds, realms, and planes of reality. I am also hoping that Sylvanas will betray (Sylvanas followed Anduin's advice to not trust the Jailer) both the Jailer & Heyla and absorb both of their powers and then destroy them. After that, Sylvanas will proclaim herself as the supreme leader of the Mawsworn. Sylvanas will admit that the mission to kill the Arbiter is a big defeat and instead have the Mawsworn cross the shattered veil above Torghast to invade Azeroth and later other realms and worlds.
After Xera died by Illidan the voice actor was sent to the Oribos 😁
Xavious seems most likely. What about Gul’dan? Exactly when was the arbiter knocked out when compared to our timeline?
I'm guessing Argus. The devs during interviews asked 2 questions for us, the consumers, to think about which is why i think this answer is correct. The first was the Ian H. asking why happens when a titan dies. The second was about the titan home world. I think something is wrong at the titan home world so Argus got rerouted. Shadowlands is an entire expansion of us dealing with the jailer trying to use this the situation into his favor OR him reaping the rewards of some unforeseen event he somehow caused at the titan home world. That's my guess.
Why would it not be Deathwing?
I think it could be Argus' IF and only if all souls, including Titans and as we see with Ursoc, a wild god, had to go to the Arbiter and then sent to their respective realms. Let's say her filter is to send these "souls" back to the the Twisting Nether or Great Dark Beyond, whatever. The red tint should be an indicative. I don't think it was Xera or other Naaru, Maybe Xavius, but we kill him right after we kill Ysera, right? I think it was after that. Maybe Gul'dan, or Kil'Jaeden, but I'd say Gul'dan has a better chance.
Calling it now – it was Ysera that broke it.
I have another option. I know it is a longshot but what if the soul that broke arbiter is in fact……Kil'Jeaden? Yes, I know that demons got back to Twisting Nether if they die but we remember also that if they are killed there. They are killed for good.
Any theories on a larger meaning behind the change in color of Sylvanes clothes from red to grey? Other than to just match the jailer?
When I first saw it, i thought Sargeras – but he's not dead (unless he can weaponize his soul….)
Helya is titanforged not mortal so I dont think her soul goes to the Shadowlands. I think her alliance to the jailer is something Sylvanas traded to her for her help. Also I think the lantern held Helya's soul and her being the "first valkyr" that's why/how it was used to dominate other valkyr
Kil'Jaden.
I think it was Kil'Jaden back when he was attempting to get Frostmourn and the Helm of Domination.
I think the arbiter has been broken since before the Lich King
Arthas soul broke it i think 🤔
Would make sence fort it to be xavius, since Xavius "died" after yesera and ysera is now in shadowlands?
Argus could be transformed into the Titan of Death and so it was just part of his soul but even that going to The Arbiter and her experiencing his torture might just take way longer and shes just in pause experiencing Argus being tortured.
Red as in argus mythic phase its argus obviously.. No? Because titans are normally sheppards for the universe and aren't ment to die anyway thad mutch power in one death.. Coming to arbiter thad the soul thad broke herr
hoooooooooooold hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhold hooooooooooooooooold your horses i know who it is….i am like 90% sure. its dreanor-guldan. he died in the wrong reality thats what broke her.
Could you maybe not put a spoiler directly in the title?
