Iron age round houses were built similar to this, they didn't have a chimney just a large roof space. The smoke rose and hung above head height, due to the lack of oxygen it stopped embers from igniting and setting the roof on fire.
You should do a video on Valheim Plus. I run a dedicated server for my friends group from my house, and I used it to tweak just a few things to make life better for us as busy adults with children.
Buildings don't take damage from raids.
Buildings don't lose durability from the weather.
Torches don't run out of fuel.
Shared map system.
Increased workbench range.
Reduced pickup radius.
Removed teleport restrictions from all items. – We got in the habit of using a local game to mule items over, so this just makes things easier/faster.
These are just the things we changed. There is so much more you can do with it. I haven't even tried to use the advanced building tools yet.
Notice something stupid about bronze? They are harder to come by than iron once you get in the crypt. It's also stupid your work bench is harder to go beyond level 4 than the forge.
Friends and I use exterior wall fireplaces now. We got the idea from common IRL houses
noo, the editing was perfect. people are just stupid. i was literally about to start my own let's play just because I saw no one do a decent job of editing down to just the important/entertaining bits, but without doing so much off camera that it becomes hard to follow. but then you started your playthrough and it was exactly what i had in mind. it was perfect the way you went about it. don't cave and make a more dragged out and boring version, exactly the same as every other youtuber. viewers are just stupid, they say less editing and longer videos only because they wanted more content, but if u did it that way then they just wouldn't have watched it. keep track of your watch time rate, i guarantee if u start doing less edits it will drop

the 1st boss is so much easier with a wall shield and spear, I did it bow 1st time and wall shield and spear with my second character, the bow was a challenge but I got it done, with shield and spear he didn't take a single hp from me
You can fit another cooking station on one fire for slammin them meats quick. 6 at a time.
I think the time-lapse sections are the way to go rather than full cutting of sections.

Got bronze age last night on my 5th attempt at the HC challenge. Get off thr boat to kill the moder boss. Over ran by 3 shaman, 1 brute, and a bunch of dwarves. Raining so stam was low. There was a moment when I was dying i said…im dead im dead im dead. Lol so hard but love the difficulty
