So in order for me to get 1440p at 120hz on my Xbox series X I need to turn off HDR? The main reason I want to upgrade is because 1080p at 60hz is just not it for me.

There's a few reddit threads stating this monitor isn't compatible with x box series x @ 1440p 120fp, unless its being run through a capture card? I'm assuming u used a capture card for this video, does it work without?
