DYSON SPHERE PROGRAM
Build the most efficient intergalactic factory in space simulation strategy
game Dyson Sphere Program! Harness the power of stars, collect resources, plan and design production lines and develop your interstellar factory from a small space workshop to a galaxy-wide industrial empire
Combining Factorio and Satisfactory on a Galactic scale!
ABOUT THE GAME
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure,
exploration and factory automation elements where you have to build your
own galactic industrial empire from scratch
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed – a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!
ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot – and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone
KEY FEATURES
◇ Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
◇ Develop your very own Dyson Sphere, a megastructure that orbits
around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw
to its completion
◇ Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
◇ Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen,
gaseous planets…
◇ Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover
the secrets of the universe
◇ Build mechas to fly, sail or jump through outer space and alien planets
◇ Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of
transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
◇ Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
◇ Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
◇ Design a balanced power network, producing energy in all kinds of
power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars… through conveyor
belts, and you’ve got technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools
COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line

why don't you just use this?
https://dyson-calculator.com/en/production-planner
Why not just call things input and output. Seems fitting for factory talk anyways
I like to call things being supplied to the assemblers "ingredients" and things coming out "finished products" or just products. Just my 2 cents on what works for me.
If you're not gonna use the mod, maybe you'd like to use an autoclicker. I set mine to click every 200 ms two times so I just hit Z and position my mouse on the belt and quickly on the assembler and done!
You have a mining machine turned like 45 degrece, how did you do that, time stamp is a round 2:17
30:50 missed some concrete under a solar panel
Yes!! Finally some Dyson Sphere is happening!
Loving this lets play.
Damn awesome !!! Keep saying inbound and outbound it really is understandable easily
Yes we want biggest Dyson sphere possible
Next real challenge is using power only from Dyson sphere/swarm
Can you make a huge jack-o-lantern out of your dyson sphere? 🙂
I call mine supply lines and return lines, or simply supply and return.
Something, something, algorithm…
Pro tip: if you build a solar sail orbit outside you planetary orbit (doesn't need many actual sails) then it functions like a relay; your ray receivers will act like they can see the whole Dyson sphere at all times.
(Got this from the awesome "Dyson sphere design and construction" guide on steam by Almaravarion)
when you're designing the dyson sphere, you can stop the game by unchencking the "run game" button in the top right corner, so the sphere won't spin when you're building nodes
Yoo Nilaus ! Nice building, but you're gonna run out of rockets. 2nd constructor for them doesn't have all the sorters in place. Remember, efficiency.
Great series and have been watching and playing along also. Only advice is to get started on launching rockets because once you build everything there’s nothing much to do once you begin building the Dyson sphere
The shooty shooty is definitely increasing now!
20:05 "if you're not automating, you're not thinking". Was that the ultimate sick burn, Nilaus style?
Hi Nilaus, absolutely loving your series.
I've just started my own playthrough but wanted to ask you (and anyone watching) if there were any keys you had remapped that made more sense or more comfortable to use?
I had a though about the inbound and outbound conundrum, how about always using it in terms of inbound and outbound to the logistics network. So inbound would be items requested from the logistics network that then go into processing machines, and outbound are the items coming out of the processing machine which are then made available to the logistics network.
I suppose this would be mostly the same context as inbound and outbound to the processing machines, but it least it then also makes sense in the more global context of the logistics network.
Dude, the scale of your rocket launching facility is really something to look at.
Awesome let's play!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Hi Nilaus, you missed like a tiny little bit of contreet at 30:51–30:52 🙂 abbove your mech on the right side 2 maby 3 tiles 🙂
Love it!
Thank you for making this series!
Nice, awesome episode 👍🏻
That one assembler with the sorter missing! My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
drink every time he says "that one"
Yet another wording complaint: "globally" when referring to "remote supply/demand/storage" is not the right word when it specifically means "not on this globe".
Im so glad you like this game, love to see you design bases
This play Theorie is really top notch. Love the “industrialization” of this planet really. The concept is very nice and your logistic system scales do well. Awesome job
Best Dyson S P player out there!!
So much a fan of this and your playstyle. playing myself every available hour and watching these videos while in on the train. keep going! patreon it is!
Do the "Soil Piles" transfer between planets? or are they planet specific?
i find ratios the same way but tend to break my brain in the process
This guy totally gets the point of the logistics stations. I still see morons doing "bus" tutorials on this game SMH
Lovely!
Appreciative of the effort? – Yes. Yes I am.
Labeling areas with the cubes is an insane idea, in an awesome way. That’s my biggest problem now looping around the planet several times trying to find some thing and then not even remembering where I was to begin with.
Nodes make more sense as that what they will end up as.
When thinking about the weird grid used for the planets, i wonder why they didn´t go with hexagons.. those can be used evenly and also give one degree of freedom for things like belts
building a swarm outside of the sphere means the swarm is in perpetual shadow (cause of the shell around the star^^)
wow, so creative! using different cubes and belts to show the function area! so that can find out the material easily.
Yeah this is definitely cool!
These planets remind me of a shirt my cousin had.
PAVE THE PLANET.
ONE WORLD, ONE GIANT SLAB OF ASPHALT.
I'm just not a fan of the strips of solar panels around every line on the planet. I think it would look better if it was just 1 belt or patches with more open flat space.
